How to clean your shower drain!
I bought these specifically for cleaning out the hair that gets stuck in the shower drain. Works perfectly! Was going to add a pic of the actual use, but didn't think anyone wanted to see that.

Fine Tool
Excellent narrow-nose pliers primarily used when fishing, slips neatly into corner of the tackle bag. Also used in basic electrical chores. Well-made, sturdy, very easily handled. I recommend these.

They worked trying to tighten the loop in a necklace
The ones with the blue needle nose pliers are the schmitz, And they are my go to needle nose pliers. as you can see the jaws are very long and they taper to very pointy better than the Dykes and the LeonTool (red with black handle) Needle nose plies. The LeonTool pliers the spring is too strong - for the dykes the spring is the right or maybe almost right tension.I wish the Dykes pliers themselves would be bigger and the jaws longer and they would taper into more thin tips. That would make these more like the Scmitz but also better. I mean if they want to compete they should listen to the people! I actually had to used the dykes in conjunction with the Schmitz pliers to run the loop through both other loops and then I used the dykes pliers to tighten the open loop and fix the necklace. The jaws themselves could be better finished and smoother. but the the price would go higher. but then again when the tool that you use makes your life so much easier you may be willing to spend a little /lot more especially if they work exceptionally well. I think all the manufactures should try that from time to time. the dykes look rushed and the jaws finish looks sloppy and rushed and they really show their value (or lack thereof) when you have something delicate you need to hold and fix. in the end if you need something in a pinch these would work just fine or two pairs of them, but if you do this kind of work on a daily bases fixing delicate loops you may want the best to save you time and make your life easier. Ever since I have been using schmitz I see the sloppiness of other needle nose pliers. And I think I have a good experience to inform others. I happened to have the schmitz and I wanted to mix the dykes in the fixing because there was an outstanding review to be made and I could see if they would be helpful or not in this process and they were but I used the schmitz as the second pair to straighten the loop a bit and I used the dykes to tighten it back. Two pairs of dykes jaw tips would not have fitted inside the loop to be straightened properly. This was my experience with the dykes. If the Jaws and the handles would be longer and girthier they would be a bit more comfortable to handle and to fix things.

Perfect tool for the price.
I liked them and just the tool for the homeowner who needs an occasional needle nose plier. Seem well built and functional. Very thin nose and good grip. And the price was very reasonable.

Perfect for pulling bones out of salmon. Seems sturdy yet small and pointed enough to grasp small objects in tight spaces.
