Good quality spoons.

This is EXACTLY what I wanted, old school wooden spoons like my mother had! I've been getting rid of plastic and silicone from my kitchen. An endocrinologist told me not to use plastic for food storage or heating and that even bpa free was problematic. Nuf said! All food storage containers now have craft and sewing supplies and have been replaced by Pyrex and sandwiches get wrapped in old school waxed paper with no problem and much cheaper! I had purchased bamboo spoons because I heard it was so durable but as I slid my hand down the handle during use I got a huge blonde splinter in my hand that was hard to see and dig out. All bamboo then went to the garbage. THESE are durable real wooden spoons! I washed them initially, let them dry overnight and seasoned them with food grade mineral oil (beeswax was too sticky and left a flavor, food grade mineral oil doesn't get rancid like olive, coconut or any other cooking oil) and I follow the rules: don't leave them soaking in the sink with the dirty dishes, wash asap by hand, (dishwasher detergents are too strong) and reseason as needed. Done! These are strong with no splinters or imperfections in the wood that would affect the quality. The price is great and performance is consistent.

Not cut well, surface is uneven and the spoon part is crooked on the bend base. I would have returned them but I had already started wood burning them before I realized how bad these are made

You get what you pay for. About the cheapest wooden spoons in my drawer. Not going to last 6 months IMO. Not sure how much effort it would have taken for them to round off the edges. I suppose if you like sharp wood this is your tool! I think it would make a great paint mixer.

I cook a lot and kept looking for wooden spoons like my mom and grandma used to have. All I could find in the stores was these fancy wooden spoons that were expensive and wouldn't last very long. These spoons are exactly what I was looking for! Sturdy, plain (not full of varnish or whatever the shiny stuff on other wooden spoons is), a good price, and exactly what I need! They have had more than a year of heavy use and are still holding up great. By heavy use, I mean for stirring and leaving in the pot to keep it from boiling over. Thank you for making and excellent product! I am a very happy customer.

Gostei, pois dá pra utilizar com todo tipo de alimento, sem arranhar as panelas.

Just wanted some extra spoons to use in my crafts to mix glue & other materials & did not want to use my good utensils. These do the rick - work well, sturdy. Recommend.
