I ordered these barrels on the 9th of July with an expected delivery date of 28th July-18th August..... I received these barrels on the 17th of JULY ! Now THAT is prompt shipping and it was from Germany to boot. (I would of received them on the 15th but I wasn't home to sign for the package)As for the barrels....1- I bought 2 barrels for 118.45 (dollars) which makes the barrels 59.225 each... Considering the closest competitor that I bought a barrel from was 67.87 (with free 2 days shipping) these barrels are a bargain.2- Quality... I have a Harmony brand dry storage barrel that I compared these barrels to and one set of numbers on the sides of the barrels are almost the same (maybe different lot numbers?) where as the locking rings numbers and another set of numbers on the side of the barrels are an exact match.The thickness of the plastic of the barrels and the lids are the same for both companies barrels... I am a big person (6'2" and pushing 300 pounds) and I have sat on these barrels sideways without undue deformity to the barrels and I could not find any "thin" spots in the plastic anywhere on these barrels...(My PERSONAL conclusion is that these barrels come form the same manufacturer but the resellers add their tags and price them differently)........Conclusion...... I am going to use these barrels for dry storage on canoe trips and once the airline pin is removed these barrels are watertight.If you want a VERY GOOD pair of barrels that are well worth the price (I paid 118.45 from Wilai GmbH) These are the barrels for you.Also the seller (Wilai GmbH) that I purchased form was prompt in answering all of my questions and Very Fast with shipping....

That is exactly the same barrel as the Harmony. Made in the same factory. The Wilai Gmbh is a great distributor, give you a better price than the local distributors. Same handle , same everything just no label. . I have also two from Harmony, just paid more for dose . 2 weeks shipping to the US.

Barrels have a tight fitting lid with a good seal. Used on one canoe trip so far. The "key" that keeps the sealing ring from being opened will need to be replaced with something else like a locking pin. Put the little key on a line tied to the handle.

Will buy more when room is available. Not in the way very descreet.

As good as the more expensive drums at the canoe and kayak shops. Actually looks and feels identical to those more expensive drums.
