I love this stuff and it is my favorite brand. Everyone loves the smell in my apartment because the smell lingers forever. I spray it almost every day but if I don't spray it for a few days, you can still smell it.

This dark patchouli is THE ONE I remember from my youth! You won't be disappointed. I've wasted so much money on so many "patchouli oils" hoping for this, that we're NOT IT! .. but this is the one .. an earthy, woodsy, musky, yummy I remember! And lasting!! Thank you, Eden's Garden!

I wear patchouli
It smells wonderful. I wear it everyday some love it some hate it. It only takes a couple drops so it lasts a long time. I've been wearing patchouli since I was 16 I'm now 70.

Not quite what I was looking for
This is close to the smell I was looking for from the 70's but not quite. But the closest so far. As far as I can tell the smell I am looking for is Indonesian aged dark patchouli oil. So I am going to try to age this Dark Patchouli and see if it will come even closer to the stuff I remember from the 70s. They say that patchouli oil is one of the few oils that gets better with age.

Great Smell
Patchouli was my favorite fragrance in college...yes, it was the 60's... and this one comes closest to what I remember! It is that wood in earth smell...but I guess you have to smell it to fully appreciate it! You either love it or not...sort of like Opera!

Best patchouli yet
I've tried several patchouli oils from Amazon, and this one is my favorite. I mix it in fractionated coconut oil for my beard, and it smells great. This is a strong smelling oil. I've found the other ones I've ordered to be too weak. This oil makes me happy.

Pass on this dark patchouli if expecting aged!
As seller notes in a Q&A, this is NOT aged dark patchouli. If you come across aged dark patchouli, it will cost more and be worth every $. This does not even smell as good as patchouli.The only reasons that I give a 3-star is that I usually like Edens Garden oils and my friend really likes it, so I continue to buy it for her.

The Search is Over
FINALLY I've found an authentic patchouli essential oil. I've bought (and returned when possible) SOOO many brands of patchouli in hopes that I would find the scent that I remember. Eden's Gardens is THE ONE!!! I will most definitely buy my essential oils from this company from now on. A heartfelt THANK YOU to this company!!!
