Do these make a difference if you are in a big apartment building and you just plug them into walls in your apartment?

Hello, Our filters will certainly help but your neighbors also have dirty electricity on their wireline and some of it will end up in your environment. Your immediate environment will be much improved with the filters. The filters simply plug in the wall. They are UL and RoHS certified. Best, Gene 415 261-7387

Is it ok to plug this into a ups battery backup? one with both surge protected and battery protected outlets.

The manufacturer brochure that came with mine said not to plug the filter into the same outlet as anything that has its own power supply, or that charges devices or batteries

Are these 2-prong or 3-prong?

We carry both 3 prong and 2 prong filters. Thanks! Gene

I have a Trifield TF2 meter, will this work to measure the before and after?

The Trifield TF2 does not measure dirty electricity. It measures magnetic fields, electric fields and RF (wireless) 3 out of the 4 recognized forms of EMF Hope this helps. Gene
