Perfect for squidding!
I originally got this for my son when we go fishing, but it also made for a really good squidding rod. The shorter rod makes it so much easier to reach to slide a squid off. This was something I had been looking for for quite some time. We'll see how well it holds up to time but it looks very good and I'm good about cleaning my rods after using them so I expect them to be good for some time.

Perfect for the price
Bought two, one for my grandson and a backup for me....I only wish they'd come unspooled. It would save me the time unspooling and putting good line of the reels. Still 5 stars despite the small inconvenience.

Very Frustrating
The first one I ordered came with the tip broken off. The replacement came without the reel handle. Pity I already sent the first back. Now I won’t have a rod for the weekend. This is possibly not the manufacturers fault but I can’t rate something I can’t use.
