Ok... OK. Niente panico °_° Ho detto niente panicooo >.< Questo romanzo è qualcosa di stupefacente. Non leggevo un libro così dai tempi della saga di Riley Jenson della mitica Keri Arthur! E' inutile, ragazzi, non c'è proprio niente da fare: gli assassini professionisti sono su un altro livello -- almeno per la sottoscritta :P Finalmente ritrovo una protagonista con la P maiuscola, di quelle che piacciono a me -- danneggiata, fosca, forte, che non teme di sporcarsi le mani di sangue *.* #TeamSarai forever! E poi... poi c'è Victor. Oh mio Dio. Dovete sapere che sì, posso anche arricciare le dita dei piedi di fronte a un uomo insistente come tutti i protagonisti dei libri che circolano adesso, ma ciò che mi fa davvero SBAVARE è un personaggio che a malapena apre bocca, ma dice tutto con un solo sguardo. Be', questa è una cosa da killer, signorine! Ok, calma, un po' di contegno, Chiara... Ma quale contegno?! Io questo romanzo me lo sono mangiata >.< Assolutamente perfetto, non adatto a persone che cercano il romanticismo, i cuoricini, i fiori... questo è un libro che può entrare in un cuore consumato, non in un cuore che brilla in cerca di amore. Perché Victor e Sarai non sono innamorati. Sono... legati. E il finale è semplicemente sublime ♥

If you haven't read Killing Sarai yet, you are missing out. This was everything I was hoping it would be and so much more. I was seriously trying to catch my breath while reading. I could kick myself for waiting so long to read this.VictorVictor is disciplined, in control and a ruthless killer. He is part of a " secret organization". He kills for money and he is damned good at it. Nothing gets in his way... Ever!!Sarai was taken to Mexico when she was 14 and held captive for 9 years. She has witnessed drugs, rapes and murders, all while living in this compound with one of the most vicious dealers in Mexico. She is Javier's " favorite" but she still tries desperately to get free.She hears Javier talking to an American man and decides to make a run for it and jumps in the Americans car. That is when she meets Victor. He has no idea what to do with her and can't kick her out because she has a gun to his head. From there they are on the run. Sarai was the perfect heroine and Victor, though vicious he was the perfect hero.I think what I liked the most about Victor was his control. He never shows emotions and it works for him. I instantly liked him...ALOT!!Sarai is broken and full of rage but I am hoping as time goes on she will heal and hopefully live a nice and calm life. She deserves it because she has been through so much. As far as Victor is concerned, I can't wait to see who his next kill is.I am running to book two like...

I'm going to admit, at first I wasn't totally into this story. When I started reading, I felt it was a little too slow, and I was getting kind of bored. I put the book down for a couple hours (this should have told you something right there) because I thought I might have been in some kind of mood or something. I was only about 100 pages in by that point anyway. Those couple hours later, I was thinking, "I need to find out what is going to happen! And boy am I glad I started reading it again because I was blown away. I loved every single second. Yes, the beginning was a bit slow, but as Victor and Sarai got to know each other and the sexual tension began to build more and more, I found myself flying through the pages to see what would happen next between them.The characters of Sarai and Victor are amazing. At first, I just liked Sarai as a character. However, by the end of the book, I loved her. She grew so much over the course of the novel, and transformed from a defeated, damaged girl to a strong, confident young woman. She completely blew me away with her personality. I was expecting her to be this completely broken girl that was in some ways innocent, but no siree! She is a kick-ass girl that has a thirst for revenge, and trust me, it's awesome. Victor was muy caliente! I loved him from the moment he appeared in the book (and he was one of the reasons I went back to finish the story). While he is a bit strange and cold toward Sarai, he's that way for a reason. He's smart, protective, and cautious. He risks everything for her, and puts himself in a position that will forever change who he is. The sexual tension between the two had me longing to scream, "Just do it already!!! but I refrained (mainly because I didn't want to look like a crazy person). It's only going to get steamier, sexier, and better from here on out in the series, and I can't wait!Both characters have to make many difficult choices throughout this novel, and I think it was great that we got to read from both Victor and Sarai's POV's. Without both perspectives, I think something would have been lost, and the story wouldn't have been as good as it was. Ms. Redmerski has an amazing way of writing, with the words just flowing off the paper effortlessly. There is no problem with the writing in this novel, because it is perfect and beautiful. Jessica takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The one thing I liked the most was that this isn't your typical love story, nor is it your typical action story. It's something different and exciting.The one other problem I had with this book was the grammatical errors. I found a lot. And by a lot, I mean that I found almost one error per page. I was actually surprised at that, and it was a little distracting. Hopefully, future books won't be as bad. Nevertheless, this is a book I highly recommend for everyone. It is definitely NA/Adult, so keep that in mind. However, I loved this book a great deal, and will definitely be checking out the rest of the series! I'm thrilled that there will be at least one more book, and I know that Jessica will deliver an even more amazing book :)4.5 stars
