Exactly as advertised! Lightweight and waste free.
Like so many other people, I was looking for ways to save grams while backpacking. Lugging around a big tube of toothpaste adds weight and volume, and if I should accidentally lose it I risk leaving more waste plastic in the environment. So I decided to try some dry tablet options. After reading positive reviews I ordered the Unpaste tablets. I have been so happy with them! We now use exclusively these while packing. They work well, they weigh practically nothing, there isn't any plastic to worry about, and they even taste good. In fact, I now use these for all travel, not just backpacking. Great product. Will order again as required.

Chalky, does not dissolve, horrible taste
I was looking for a cheap toothpaste tablet. I am not crazy about tablets in general, but trying to do my part. This thing is horrible. You have to chew on it longer than other tablets, and it's very, very, dry. I need to take a sip of water to get it to dissolve faster, otherwise I find myself just standing there chewing on the tablet. Maybe it does clean, I don't know. My teeth feel just as dirty before I cleaned them, and there's no minty taste to try to fool me that maybe it did clean my teeth.

Smaller TSA friendly toothpaste alternative
Normally I buy the small travel size toothpastes which are expensive, count towards your liquids in carry-on luggage, and require two tubes as you have a tiny bit of your first tube. Because of these reasons, I decided to try this toothpaste. It has a faint minty taste and is not foaming. I suggest not chewing the tablet, because it gets stuck in the crevices of your top and bottom teeth then you really feel the urge to brush. Putting a tablet in your mouth then taking a sip of water helps the tablet to dissolve. It feels like there is enough to brush your teeth. I do prefer the feel and more clean taste of my teeth using traditional toothpaste more, but I have put a week of tablets in my carryon bag in case I forget my toothpaste or if I am constrained on space, I can just use these. I think the tablets will be better for camping and backpacking as well.

Yaaay!!!
I haven't tried these yet, but I was looking for some non-expired toothpaste tablets and I saw on their website that the fluoride-free ones DO NOT expire. The only thing is that they just may not taste right after a couple years. For the price, this bag is really SMALL. However, it does say that there are 125 toothpaste tablets in here....So, I guess the price is okay, but not really. The quantity may be high, but it's so small. I also haven't used these yet, but I dont think you're going to get as much out of these toothpaste tablets even if you do add water (compared to my experience with toothpaste tablets). It just seems too high for me in the price range, but maybe thats just me?

Like brushing your teeth with a breath mint
I decided to try these on my last business trip as an alternative to buying yet another tiny travel tube of toothpaste. I also do a lot of backpacking, so it was a good way to try them out before relying on them in the wilderness for a week. It is definitely not "paste". I thought you were supposed to chew it, then it would dissolve and become "pasty". For my first attempt, it just stuck in my molars and never went anywhere... took forever to brush it out. Next time, I chewed with a lighter bite and it just crumbled. It doesn't ever dissolve or get mushy or bubbly. You're just rubbing little bits of a breath mint over your teeth. I gave it more than one star because it does leave your breath minty, but as far as oral hygiene goes, I'm not impressed.
