This is what I was perfectly hoping to get for my Achilles tendinitis. It helps to keep the swelling down and soothe my aching foot. It is easy to put in and tae off without issue. A big plus is I prefer to remove the ice gel packs and put them only in my freezer rather the entire boot wrap, and they have made it easy to do so. I like to have my ankle wrap on or a sock when wearing it so it’s not so cold against my skin. The cold is still very much able to penetrate through that. This wrap has comfortable skin friendly material and is perfectly sized for my foot. The Velcro enclosure mid nice and strong as well. Quality sewn border around the entire boot. I am able to tighten or loosen as well with the adjustable Velcro. It stays cold for as long as I need without issue. Great buy and highly recommend.

I recently experienced extreme pain in my Achilles. I literally could not put my foot down flat to walk. I used a traditional ice pack and it was not working. My son searched Amazon and found this ice brace for me. I allowed the ice packs to freeze overnight and midday I inserted the packs into the brace. Once I strapped it onto my ankle I rested my leg. I’m not certain but I believe I kept it on for about two hours. I just took it off and I can now rotate my foot with minimal pain. Before this brace I couldn’t rotate it at all. The secure placement of the packs were essential. I recommend this product.

My daughter really loves this brace it provides excellent compression, and the ice packs are impressively cold and well-made. It’s been a big help for her recovery. That said, it’s a little awkward for her to walk around the house while wearing it, and she mentioned she wishes it provided a bit more coverage around the front of her ankle. One important tip: definitely wear a sock or put some kind of barrier between your skin and the ice packs, because they get cold enough to be uncomfortable without protection. Overall, it’s a high-quality product that does its job well.

I was getting very frustrated with my existing cooling pads because they simply didn't feel cold enough even after days in the freezer. After only hours, the cooling pads that came with this brace were so cold that they were actually painfully cold for exte ded wear, so I put them in the refrigerator instead, and it's a perfect temperature. The coldness lasts for hours, and even once it wears off, the pad is demonstrably cool to the touch, so it won't feel like a sweaty mess like some other pads do once they lose their cool. Swapping pads out for a fresh one is really easy, and so is actually getting the brace to go on and stay on. The velcro actually sticks and doesn't pull away when I flex my leg. This brace is currently the only thing keeping me sane while my torn Achilles tendon heals, so I'm glad I bought it. It's a little hard to get a slip-on shoe on over it, but honestly, I probably shouldn't even be wearing shoes in the first place.

It works very well for either an ankle or foot injury. It adheres well and allows me to be mobile while applying ice. It gets very cold, I don't need to keep it on for very long. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for a friend.

Overal it is doing what I need it to, but the size is small around the foot part. I dont have the biggest feet and it is only just catching on the velcro. It takes a few adjustments to get it comfy/not cut off the circulation to my toes. Saying that if you can get it on comfortably it is great. I have been using it for a few nights and it it is great at reducing swelling/pain that I have.

The Coldest Achilles ankle wrap is an excellent product. After a recent bout of Achilles tendinitis resulting from long runs on hard road surfaces, this product, combined with Bauerfeind‘s Achilles Pro compression sleeve (worn successively, not simultaneously of course), I’ve made quite some progress using the RICE (Rest, Icing, Compression and Elevation) method. I am back to running virtually pain free. Icing an ankle and the Achilles specifically can be cumbersome, so a fitted wrap ist a must. This sleeve fits well since adjustable for excellent cooling. The separate cooling elements can be inserted easily. Insert the short side then rotate to fit and you have no issues of tearing anything. This is necessary by design to avoid the cooling packs from sliding out while wearing them. Some reviewers reported issues with the wrap cooling too much and causing pain. I can’t confirm this in my case. Yes the first 20 minutes of cooling are intense, as they should be to reduce swelling, but not painful. Maybe you have to be a runner to not mind ... Seriously, just wearing some tennis socks underneath should adjust the temperature to a comfortable level. Others reported the wrap not cooling long enough. Again - the first 20 minutes of cooling are intense but necessary to avoid swelling, but bearable. The unit cools at a gentler level for a good hour afterward, still leaving your ankle cool to the touch. While I initially used this wrap to cure my Achilles tendinitis using the RICE method, I am still using it prophylactically after each run while I am in this transitioning period to get my Achilles fully back in shape. Followed up with the Bauerfeind Achilles Pro compression sleeve I am getting relief after each run and am almost back to normal. Great product and worth the money, given what you might spend at the doctors office in copays or God forbid out of pocket. Fully recommended!

These double ankle cold packs are fantastic! They’re the Real Deal! The FOUR ice packs seemed normal at first but once they’re frozen for over 24 hours is when they Really Kick in! There are 2 big ones and two smaller ones to adjust to where you need freezing. They keep their cold longer than any ice pack I’ve ever used and it feels like they remain at a colder temperature for Longer—About an hour or so. The texture on the outside of the ice packs is nice too, it has a linen matte feel so it doesn’t stick weirdly to you like some ice packs do. I love this for when I get hormonal PMS Fire feet 🔥🦶these ice 🧊 packs cure it so I can sleep! No more hot, hormonal feet that started when I was pregnant and has persisted through peri-menopause. Also super for when I sprained my ankle. The Velcro wraps are comfy (but may not have enough strap length if you’re an XL or > larger human. This could be fixed by adding more Velcro to make longer straps- if you’re bigger)— it wasn’t a problem for me but I think if standard sizes are small for you, then it could be. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The wrap didn’t wrap around the right areas for me. ….Which are the ankles. It focused on back calf and feet.

Product leaking gel, luckily was only on the bed as i was resting my foot. Walking up with it wasn't pleasant. Looks like seam failure.
