Believe the hype - this is the dupe you're looking for
Yes, this is a complete dupe for Nemat Amber. In fact, they're both made in cities that are geographically very near each other, and if I had to guess, they're being supplied by the same company or are the same company. Both require you to open the bottle, roll some on your skin, and then leave them alone for a couple days before the scent develops. Thankfully, it's not months of maceration, but there's something about getting just a little oxidation or something into the bottle that really makes the scent come alive. Prior to that, you could get something that smells correct right away, or you could get something that smells like absolutely nothing to start with. As with Nemat Amber, I own 4 of these roll-ons (3 of the larger ones for home, and one of the smaller ones for work). I love it. I don't ever want to be without it. But... and this is a huge but, it gives me terrible, horrible, no good, very bad contact dermatitis. Whatever scent compound is in this glorious fragrance that is somehow warm, soft, sensual, and fresh and clean all at the same time, makes me break out in itchy bumps within 3-5 days of using it. Every time. I can get away with using it directly on my volar wrists and even rub this into my palms to pat it onto my clothes, and for some reason, the skin there doesn't react, but as soon as this gets past my wrist creases all bets are off. All of the amber-type scents do this to my skin (nemat amber, dedcool milk, dedcool xtra milk... ). It's an absolute bummer because it's my favorite scent. I could bathe in it. I could have all of my clothing and sheets smell like it. I could wash my dishes with it. That is how much I love it, but whatever compound equates to "amber" also equates to "rash" for me. Still, that's a me thing and not a you thing, so if you're wondering about this fragrance and whether or not it's worth buying: IT IS WORTH BUYING! The reviews that say that they picked up a roll-on and there was no scent are not wrong. That has happened with all 3 of mine. I sniffed it upon opening and it smelled like nothing. (It also happened with several of the rollerballs of Nemat Amber.) I rolled it on my wrist and my wrist smelled like nothing. Then a couple of days later, I sniffed again, and the scent was stronger. I rolled it on my wrist and there was some scent. Then a couple of days later, I sniffed again, and the scent was even stronger. It does max out at a certain point, and it doesn't take months of "maceration" to get this to full strength, but for the bottles that don't smell like anything right away, it does seem to take a small amount of rolling this onto your skin and leaving it for a few days (maybe introducing some skin bacteria? I don't know, really) before the scent becomes apparent. People will say it's because your nose needs to learn how to smell these skin scents, but I don't buy that for a second. I can smell one open bottle that's been open for a few days and get a definite scent, and then smell a brand new one and get absolutely nothing. My nose knows what it's looking for and can detect it just fine, there's just something weird in the chemistry of these amber oils in particular where even some small amount of air getting into them transforms the scent from undetectable to undeniably scrum-diddly-umptious. So if you opened yours and were disappointed that you got a "bad one," roll it on your skin, and then leave it for a couple days. You may find that the scent has come alive a bit. So, despite the fact that this gives me horrible rashes that I end up needing to use steroids on in order to get my skin to calm down (I have a rash on my neck and both wrists as we speak!), I'm still subjecting myself to it because the scent is so gorgeous and worth it. But if you're anything like me, and don't want to deal with rashes from perfume, note that you should also stay away from the fragrances I listed above because they're all either exact dupes or close enough that they contain the same fragrance compound(s) that will make you bumpy and itchy.

A welcome surprise
Purchased because Amber Bloom was described as a dupe for the Nemat Amber. It was not a dupe. I have purchased many dupes, only to have the dupes turn out to be something nauseating or downright crass. This was not the case with Amber Bloom. Amber Bloom stands on its own as a scent to be fallen in love with. The oil barely had a scent initially. Several minutes later it began to bloom. I detected the most subtle whiff of pine that quickly faded, next up was a soft note of sandalwood incense and amber resin (not the brash discordant sort, but warm, soft, and smooth) This is a beautiful scent. It is a quiet clean warm scent that sits close to the skin. If I were to personify this scent I would describe it as a quiet cozy cat with glowing amber eyes.

Light but nice
Edit - I've purchased from this vendor several times. Have never been disappointed until now. I've been reading how a lot of customers have complained that the scent has changed and gotten weaker. Unfortunately I can validate this is true. Having purchased this item several times I know what to expect and this wasn't it. Fragrance was so faint as to be undetectable. This is very disappointing as this is one of my favorites. I don't think I'll be buying from this vendor again. But in looking at others, seems to be a trend in all of them. Customer comments have been consistent in complaining about weakness of scent and diluted product. It's like anything product shrinkage with inflation. I took a chance based on the reviews. As I wasnt a rose or jasmine person, I had to rely on the reviews for the scent I thought I was interested in. Perfume is a tricky thing to order on line w/out having smelled it before and basing it on other people's opinion. We have all been in a crowd and wondered why someone would ever believe that what they are wearing smells good! Ive gone through the entire perfume counter at the store and walked away not finding anything I liked or would spend money on. Anyway, I took the chance (good ol Prime, If I dont like it, it goes back) And I was surprised that I liked it. It is a light, warm, fragrance that is not very notieable and fades fast. Everyone's chemistry is different, true, but I was hoping it would be a little more "there" and not fade so fast. I find myself reapplying during the day. So overall, for the price, its a bit pricy for something that is just a hint of fragrance, but I did get a couple of compliments from friends who said "hey that smells nice", so theres that. I do recommend it, and it will not be a overpowering or dominent fragrance.

Close to Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret
I was looking for the Victoria's Secret version of this perfume and couldn't find it. This was a super close match. It lasts at least 12hrs and you don't need much, just a small dab in the right spots.

Pleasantly Lingers
Iโm very pleased, it definitely is very similar to another makers Amber oil but this has more staying power. This is like a soft, sensual breath that lingers and is enjoyable to wear.

Subtle smell!
Excellent! The smell is subtle but amazing. The bottle size is a good size for the price!

Very Mild Smell
This does smell good, but it is very very faint and doesn't last. Probably would not purchase again.

Sooooo good!!
At first, it doesn't smell like much. HOWEVER, give it a little time on your skin and suddenly there's a gorgeous light floral musk that is subtle enough that you just smell like your skin smells good, without anything distinctive hitting you in the face. I get headaches from many perfumes, and this one is perfect. I prefer it to JHAG Not A Perfume, and find that it gives a similar effect without the added creamy sweetness the JHAG gives, and with a little more woody spice.

Great fragrance, not very strong
Lovely fragrance, just not very strong. You can hardly smell it and it doesn't last very long. I wish it was stronger because the fragrance is really nice.
