Wow!! What a difference a cable makes! :-D I have an old Sega Megadrive 2 console, that I wanted to get running on my modern LG LED 1080p TV, and with the old RF connection, it was, well.... total pants!! I have never seen such an appalling looking RF connection before! Even with the TV set to 'original' for it's aspect ratio.... even in 4:3 on RF the colours were so far off it was a joke, and the picture had a weird criss-crossing of colours too... there were red and white borders extending out from everything on-screen, and it all had a nasty, jaundiced yellow hew....... So I ordered this cable some 24-hours prior to this review actually, and it arrived today (within the Prime 24-hour delivery guarantee), and I connected the Megadrive 2 with this new cable - which is connected for RGB output via Scart connection..... set the video input to 4:3, and my word!! My Sega looked and sounded beautiful...!! Sharp, crisp, vibrant colours, and stereo sound! From an analogue (analog) standpoint, the RGB output is the best that you'll get compared to a digital HDMI output.... OK, it's not 1080p, but, at the Megadrive resolution, using RGB is the best that you can get, and it looks brilliant!! The games look as they should, and the sound is presented in true stereo too. The Megadrive 2 has a reputation for terrible RF performance (you ain't kidding.....), but superb RGB output, and I'm delighted to say, that this absolutely true... this cable is letting my ancient console look sparkly-new on a modern Full-HD TV.... :-)

These cables far exceeded my expectations for how inexpensive they were. I can now get very sharp and vibrant RGB 240p out of any consoles that use or have an adapter to use the Genesis 2 / Megadrive 2 style plug. I use mine connected to an upscaler which converts RGB SCART to Component YPBPR 240p for use on a CRT and I also upscale to 1080p for use on a modern TV and the image is significantly better than if I were to use RF, Composite or S-Video. Makes my TurboGrafx 16 look absolutely stunning. Highly recommended if you're just getting into RGB SCART and dont want to spend a fortune. You can always upgrade to the expensive cables down the road if you feel the need, but this is great to just get up and running.

Utilisé pour ma megadrive II. Fonctionne très bien je n’ai plus à jouer avec les fils pour obtenir l’image.
