Una buena lectura.
Lo que más me ha gustado ha sido la presentación, el texto y los dibujos. Es una lectura muy adecuada para los últimos cursos de primaria. A mi hija le ha encantado.

👩❤️This is an empowering book for young girls about fighting inequality, in particular gender inequality, but linked to the life of role model Emma Watson who is passionate about just that. Using Emma Watson as a role model is great as she will always be a young girl in the Harry Potter films, so readers can associate with her, a fellow young girl, easily. This book talks through Emma’s life taking the form of a timeline. It starts in 1990 with her birth, 1995 with school, 1999 with Harry Potter, 2009 with university then concentrates on her work in feminism (and more). In 2014 she becomes the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. In 2015 she is Belle in Beauty and the Beast where “Emma enthusiastically works to make Belle a positive character that girls can look up to.” In 2016 she sets up Our Shared Space, a feminist book group, giving people a safe place to talk about these issues when they might not have anyone to talk to at home, and so on.Feminism is defined in simple words for children too: “Really it is just campaigning for men and women to be treated equally.”The art doesn’t feature any photos or anything of Emma herself, instead it is all drawings in the style of the front cover (orange, black, white and grey being the colour palette). But the art does make sure to feature a lot of diversity in the people.All-in-all a worthy book that is deserving of 5-stars for what it is trying to do. And it is great that Emma Watson uses her platform for the good.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Inspiring the next generation
This hardback book is a great addition to any library or young Emma Watson fan's bookshelf. It's quite short, but is well written and illustrated and explains, in simple terms, the things that Emma Watson has done in her life to promote gender equality, as well as giving some insight into her life. It's gently educational, with a feminist message (as suggested by the title), but not over-preaching. A great red for new free-readers up to Year 7 or so, this is non-fiction for children, done well. I will keep an eye out for others in the series as this one is great.

Lovely Illustrations
I ordered this book for my daughter who is obsessed with Harry Potter. This book is about Emma Watson and includes some information about how she auditioned for the film. It then goes on to talk about what she achieved after the film. The book is short but the illustrations are beautiful and the book has an inspirational message. This book is part of a series which my daughter is now keen to look at. We would recommend this book and it would make a lovely gift.
