It is important to understand exactly what size you need

The screws/sockets are decent, and as advertised. Each purchase includes a single Allen key, where you actually need 2 to tighten/hold both sides. Not a big deal, except the included wrench is garbage quality and too small, so started rounding out with not significant torque.

A good sturdy product

We needed a way to put a cross pin in a PVC tube. I didn't want a bolt and nut, because it would've stuck out and made a snagging point. Raynor used something like this on one of their garage door lift handles.I believe this was described as 2.16 inches, which I assumed was the widest dimension. It was the fully closed dimension. I ended up cutting a small piece of the bolt to shorten them and fit my needs. I wish they had given the full open/closed measurements for these bolts.Other than that, these bolts get five stars.

A perfect solution for my project. Pieces are well made and the finish is perfect

I build a multi-piece bookshelf from IKEA to look "built-in" for my daughter. These little gizmos help you lock each bookshelf together (side to side) to have less gaps in between. The other advantage is if you have slightly uneven floors, these bolts help keep the bookshelves even. We were trying to avoid adding trim pieces and having to paint them, etc. I attached all the bookcases to the wall using a cleat as well (for safety with little ones in the home). All we had to do is drill through both using a drill bit just big enough to fit the widest piece of the two and then hand tighten. I decide to place them in several places in the front shelf holes that were not going to be used. I found that 3-4 per shelves that sat side by side did the trick. I would definitely use these again.
