The height is adjustable and 45° tiltable saw blade makes it possible to cut double mitres when used together with the angle stop. Low-noise drive using DC special motor with compound belt driver. Ball-bearinged saw blade shaft. Tungsten tipped saw blade diameter 80mm (3 9/64") x 1.6mm (1/16") x 10mm (13/32") (36 T). Additional work piece pusher and non-slotted ABS sawing gap cover for tight tolerances between saw blade and table. Technical data: 110 - 120V AC. 60Hz. 7,000rpm. Mitre infinitely adjustable up to 45 degrees. Table size 12" x 12" (300 x 300mm). Cutting depth 0.04 - 5/6" (1 - 22mm). Stable and sturdy construction because load bearing parts and plane milled table are made of die cast aluminum. Extendable table extension with integrated auxiliary stop provides for very accurate cuts of larger materials. Meter gauge comes with angle stop rail of aluminum and an adjustable limit stop for manufacturing parts of equal length and the same angle. Adjustable meter runs in milled slot in table top for precision accuracy. Vacuum cleaner adapter permits clean working. Technical Data: 110-120 Volt AC 60Hz, 7000 RPM. **Q: RIPPING WOOD WITH 80 TOOTH BLADE FOR FINE WORK /**
A: For this saw, and the precision I work with, ( 1/100th of an inch), I cut up to 1/2 inch thick hard woods .  I always rip first.  Do a finish cut if needed and then assemble.  I use these saws daily, The quality of the machine is great.  Learning how to use this saw has uped the quality of my work. It also has cut way down on waste and a hike in yield.

**Q: Does this saw have a variable speed control?**
A: No. It is a fixed single speed.

**Q: Are the blades interchangeable with the Proxxon 115?**
A: Both the KS 115 & FET use saw blades with a 10mm arbor. Although the blades of the KS 115 will fit the shaft of the FET you will not get the full cutting capacity of the FET as the KS 115 blades are 2 inches in diameter versus 3 inches for the FET.

**Q: Is saw included?  Please let me know what Components are included, if saw is not with it, tell me the model number I should buy.**
A: The saw includes everything you need to start, including the fence, saw blade and an elaborate miter gauge.  All you might want is additional blades. although I am still using the original.  They last a long time.
