Love this for everyday use
High quality grinder. Pepper gets grinded very very fine which I love. One push bottom with only one hand maneuvering is convenient while cooking. I have one for salt!

Great Pepper Mill
It oughta be great for the price. But I went through a half-dozen of the other electric mills, and this German model is the best.Easily Adjusts to the preferred grind.Charge once a month or when you refill the grinder.Button can be a little tough on my arthritic thumb, but you get used to it.

Stopped grinding pepper corns after 3 months
I was very please with this product at first. I loved being able to recharge the grinder. A charge lasted a long time. The grinder ground fast and provided a nice coarse grind. However, after 3 months, the grinder stopped grinding peppercorns. The motor worked and it sounded like it was working, but no pepper came out. I suspect that the connection between metal and plastic is causing the plastic to get stripped, hence the grinding sound without actually turning the grinder. I was so disappointed because I really thought I found a good motorized grinder that would last a long time.

I Got Screwed!
Wow, was I screwed! What a turkey! It worked just fine for SIX WHOLE MONTHS! How about that? You buy what you think is a quality product and then, right before your very eyes, it turns out to be a piece of crap. Go ahead, buy it and see if you don't have the same experience.

Works well
So far, this grinder is excellent. It's mostly plastic, but seems to run well.

I like it
Two things I had issues with right out of the box. One, the top part was difficult to unlock and twist off, and getting it back on and locking after adding the pepper was just as bad. It seems to get easier after awhile. Second, there is a cap underneath that covers the mill and grind size selector. It basically has to be pried off. If you don’t have fingernails, you may need to use something thin to work it off. If you have arthritis or other issues with your hands, this may not be the grinder for you.The mill has ceramic blades, and it grinds pretty good. Though getting the grind you want is by trial and error. There are no markings on the grind selector knob to use as a guide, just turn until you get what you want. My Peppermate mill, which I adore, is the same way. The looser the knob the coarser the grind. The level of the peppercorns can be seen through the clear window on the grinder. If you use a lot of pepper, expect to refill the grinder often as it doesn’t hold that much pepper. I’m reviewing this as a pepper mill, but it can also be used to grind salt and dried spices. I do a mix of coarse sea salt and a dried herb like basil or parsley in one of my other grinders. I will try that out with this grinder when the pepper runs out. Nice features of this mill are the rechargeable battery, and the light. This is my first electric grinder. The only issues I have with it, is unlocking and locking the top part from the mill, and removing the cap from the bottom of the mill. Other than that, I like it.Update:I thought the grinder was broken because it wouldn’t charge. I tried using a USB-C cable that came with iPad, and the one that came with my Samsung phone. It wouldn’t charge with either one. I managed to find the cable that came with the mill, and it worked. So keep the supplied cable handy as others may not work.
