Baomain SDA50x50 Compact Thin Air Cylinder,1.97 inch(50 mm),Stroke 1.96 inch(50 mm), Double-Acting, Single Rod, Aluminum Body for Small Machinery and Industrial Automation

I bought two of these a month ago and they are working very well. Also have other sizes from this manufacture that I’ve used in the past and had good luck with them as well.

I am happy with the design, function and price of these cylinders. I've used five of them to date.

Here is what it says in the description, point #2 "It provide with push-in slot for installation of magnet switch, which can fix the magnet switch at any position." So I put in a magnet switch, but with no magnet inside the cylinder, the switch is useless. Unfortunately, this will go back, and it's misleading on capabilities!

As another reviewer mentioned this cylinder doesn't have a magnet for use with a reed switch. Note that the listing indicates "Compatible with CS1-G and CS1-J switches." Not true. I tried with a CS1-J and other reeds - there's no magnet inside. Cylinder is otherwise fine. If you don't need a sensor it'll probably be ok. If you DO need a cylinder-mounted sensor look elsewhere, and be warned that a couple other cheapo cylinders I have from Amazon (different brands) were also missing the advertised piston magnet.

They work great. Wish they were not metric but it is what it is.

So we actually got this pneumatic cylinder for a small STEM robotics project. It's working well and is very strong. No problems with actuations and works smoothly. A good price and value.

I bought four of these cylinders, three came out perfectly. One, however had the inlet air hole drilled off center, about a millimeter. In my use case this did not affect performance, but it could in someone else's. Overall though, very happy with the cylinders and the price is almost 10x less than on McMaster!
