Mixes well - and tastes delicious! 😋
A few years ago my cholesterol level was found to be too high. In an effort to reduce my cholesterol by natural means I modified my eating habits, and indeed did manage to bring my cholesterol down to an acceptable level. One food stuff I did introduce into my daily diet was porridge oats, which I continue to eat for breakfast every morning. My understanding is that regardless of the type, shape or size, all porridge oats are wholegrains and they all contain a soluble fibre called beta-glucan, which can help lower your cholesterol level - providing you have 3g or more daily - as part of a healthy diet. So there is some substance to the claims made by the makers of this CholesteRite product. In addition, this an effective meal replacement, so can also help folk who are trying to lose weight. My wife was diagnosed with high cholesterol levels a few weeks ago. So, she has been eating more healthier food, and daily drinking CholesteRite. The positive outcome of her efforts is that she’s managed to lose 4Kg, and reduce her cholesterol in the process. I have only tried one glass of CholesteRite, but I found it to be very tasty. It’s recommended that you mixed one level scoop (70g) with 300ml of cold water, though I used semi skimmed milk and, using my hand blender, ended up with a drink that had a smooth, milkshake texture - and it was yummy! The makers suggest you can lower your LDL cholesterol by 7-10% in just 2-3 weeks. Please bear in mind that this 1 Kg tub contains 2 weeks supply - so you will have to purchase another tub if you intend using it for a minimum of three weeks. At the present price of £18.99 I think this represents good value - especially when you consider that it works out at £1.35 per meal. Highly recommended.

Pleasant flavour, mixes quite well and promotes good health.
Cholesterite is a cholesterol reducing meal replacement in the form of a powder that you mix with water and take as a drink. It claims to lower LDL cholesterol by 7 - 10% in just two to three weeks. As I haven't had my blood checked for cholesterol I cannot confirm whether it does or it doesn't, however as I do have high cholesterol let's just say I'm hoping it does. This powder comes in a large tub with a scoop and the directions suggest that you ... fill a shaker with 300 ml of cold water (adding ice makes this drink even nicer), add one level scoop of Cholesterite powder and shake well. Mixing this powder does take some doing as it is quite bitty due to the added oats and I have found that using a smoothie blender works better. As a healthy drink it has a lot going for it ... high protein, low fat, high fibre and low salt. It contains plant sterols (phytosterois) as well as Beta Glucan from oats which gives a nice natural oaty flavour. This drink also has other ingredients added for good health which include ... milk protein, whey protein, soya protein, creatine, oat bran, malt, N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamins E and C, Lactobacillus Acidophilus Probiotic, Sucralose (sweetener) and a blend of other vitamins and minerals.Taste wise this drink is rather nice ... it is thick and creamy with a sweet malty/oaty flavour which I quite like. The texture is slightly glutinous which I'm not so keen on, however adding extra water and crushed ice helps massively with its texture.Price wise I do think this meal replacement works out to be expensive ... at £24.99 (price correct at the time of this review) for 1 kg considering you need one scoop (70 g) per shake. This works out that at the rate of one drink per day (one meal replaced) this tub will last 14 days ... so you would need two tubs per month and double that if you have two shakes per day.I have been having one shake a day for ten days and I do feel a lot less tired so it must be doing me some good.Leaving the price to one side, I have no problem in recommending this meal replacement shake.Thank you for reading and I hope you have found my review to be helpful.

Great taste, poor value.
A lovely tasting meal replacement and a good start to the day.The flavour is kind of like vanilla ice cream mixed with porridge, its very easy to mix, but you do need to add a LOT (a BIG LEVEL SCOOP) to water and as this is only a 2 week supply, it's VERY over priced, there are MUCH CHEAPER alternatives, so i definitely won't be getting it again, it's just not worth its price.A nice product, but WAY above what it should cost.

Good ingredients, lovely flavour.
Having recently found out that my cholesterol is a little high this is perfect for me. The results I had showed that I don’t need medication yet and I told the doctor I would prefer to address it with a diet change and more exercise. This meal replacement shake is designed to do exactly what I need, I did the calculations and if I reduce my levels by only 8% then I will be in a normal range. The shakes are easy to make, and you don’t need to use milk or anything fatty, you just need to mix with water. You just add one scoop to 300ml of cold water, you can stir but I use my shaker cup and it turns out totally smooth and lump free. I also really enjoy the powder added to a smoothie. I love the flavour; I often have oats for breakfast and love the taste. It is low in fat so will not harm my weight loss diet. The shake has high fibre and protein and it fills me up for ages, I have been drinking one daily instead of lunch.Hopefully I will be able to get another appointment to have my levels rechecked at some point, it takes so long right now, but I plan to have a healthy level when I do, and this shake will help.
