This Jacket is amazing. Fits great and quality material.

I thought that it was slightly too small until I accepted that it's not a "jacket" jacket. It's sort of between a shirt and a jacket in terms of thickness. By thinking of it as a slightly thicker, more durable long-sleeve shirt, I came to terms with the fit, and it looks sharp. Now, since it has a modern, fitted design, it does mean there are slight issues when trying to express full range of motion if you plan on using this to practice Kung Fu or another martial art. Specifically, like a suit jacket, stretching your arms above your head will cause the bottom to ride up, and bringing your arms together in the front will stretch the back horizontally. This was off-putting for me when I was trying it on for the first time, but I've gotten over it. Full range of motion is still attainable; just be prepared to feel the jacket resisting you. The top frog button is hard to fasten, but if you're like me, you'll appreciate that because it probably means it's more securely in place. The pockets are a nice touch as well. I use them to hold my keys and phone while I head out to practice. In conclusion, this product is pretty much exactly as advertised. By having a fitted design, it naturally offers less complete freedom of motion. If that worries you, then look elsewhere for a bigger, more traditional jacket (or maybe order a size up? Not at all sure if that would solve it though). If you're not bothered, then this product will serve you well.

This is my VERY FAVORITE GARMENT. When I first got it, it felt just a little stiff and scratchy, as linen sometimes will. But I washed it, and it softened just beautifully. This jacket is somehow both warm AND cool! Where I live, it’s often cold in the mornings and quite warm in the afternoons, and this jacket is perfect all day long. It’s reversible, so the two different colors mean it goes with practically everything in my closet! Also, the pockets are big enough for a phone, a wallet, whatever you need to carry. I know it’s technically a man’s jacket, but the shape is so elegant and classic, I love how it looks! I immediately ordered one in another color. I’m a fan for life. UPDATE!!!! I’ve had this jacket for six years now, and it’s still 100% my favorite garment. It says “hand wash” in the description, but I’ve washed it in the machine and dried it in the dryer at least a hundred times, I’m guessing, and it’s still perfect. Looking at my photo, I can tell the color has mellowed a bit, but not much, and it’s no less gorgeous. No loose threads or weak stitches on this baby, not a one! EXCELLENT craftsmanship. ❤️❤️

Very scratchy, not thick enough compared to what you’d find from martial art distributors. Decent color scheme. If this softens in the wash I’ll update this. If you live in cold (think northern United States/Canada) climates you’d do better with something else in post autumn weather. I am also very fit so if you’re looking for size offerings this size I got leaves plenty of room for other layers.

I love this double-sided jacket! I am not a Kung Fu person. But when i saw it, it gave me an idea! i wore it casually and at one point i also wore it in a business conference over my button-up shirt! And it sparked a lot of startup conversation. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

Fits perfect, Definitely worth it, very happy. ( * 6 ft & 190 lb Broad shoulders & got an XL) - Definitely can move like I used to when studying martial arts and does not hinder my movement while practicing katas 👍 - Easy to move around, not stiff & scratchy (much more comfortable than the one had when Practicing kung fu, all cotton) - Way better than I thought, and fits a lot better than anything else I bought. Good quality, nice design. However, the size runs small.

So I don't practice any martial arts (not that I'm not open to the possibility) but I always liked the way these jackets looked so I finally decided to git me one. It's pretty ridiculously comfortable, I can button the thing with my left (non dominant) hand, and it fits well (I did get a size up from normal for a baggier fit, since that's sort of just what you do.) I mostly wear while I'm working out to sort of psych me up for it, make me feel like I'm about to take on an army of yakuza or something. It may sound kind of stupid, but it works for me. A side note, if you wash the thing, be sure to throw it in the machine with stuff that isn't gonna pill up. I made the mistake of washing it with a fluffy blanket and I suspect some of the blanket material got in between the two layers of fabric, cause little specs of fabric keep popping up out of nowhere. My fault for not following the care instructions, but to paraphrase Mitch Hedberg: if the tag says dry clean only, that means it's dirty.

I would have wanted the color to be more white than the beige it is. The black side is fine. There's no fancy detail,but I wasn't expecting any. It's the frog buttons that commands the attention. In other words, a full length YKK zipper wouldn't do. It's is my first purchase and l like it. I have bought a few other Kung fu ones more fancy, but I like this one for the times and occasions where I want to be subtle. I am 5'7" tall,muscular build,190lbs. Ordered XX-large. Usually,North America Xl would do. Hope this helps because even though the venders warn you about "asian sizing vs North America",I found that wasn't enough to go by.
