It works like a charm for my Rebel T7 although it's only written for the T3 !

This little door may bring your camera back to life!!
Our family owns a Canon EOS Rebel Rebel T3. My granddaughter had sequestered the camera for a trip to Yellowstone and in the process the little door was lost. I checked out my repair options on YouTube and discovered a guy down in the deep south who collects and resurrects abandoned Canon's. He shared that the PhotoTrust Battery Door Cover Lid Cap....must be attached to the camera or it WILL NOT TURN ON! Equipped with that little nugget of info, i ordered the replacement cap...and BINGO....we had "lights, camera, action!" This little door was super easy to install. I was amazed. If your Canon camera is dead and the battery door is missing, order this and then your camera life is about to get a whole lot better!
