Metallic Pouring Acrylic Paint

These pouring paints have been perfect for my jewelry-making endeavors. I can directly drip the paint from the bottles onto each piece and then I use a toothpick to create the design. It's very meditative and now I have way too many pendants. If you aren't using pouring paint for large (messy) projects, I highly recommend getting these pre-mixed bottles versus mixing up your own with a thicker acrylic paint + the mixing oil. It's hard to get the ratio right if you're not well-practiced. The metallic colors here are outstanding — I get so many compliments when I wear this jewelry because of the way the sun hits it.

I love these pour painting supplies! The metallic colors are vibrant and shiny. These are superb on the canvas.

I’ve had a lot of fun with these fluid acrylics trying to make a few atmospheric abstract landscapes. I used them watered down to make them even more fluid in the paintings. The background trees, sky, and water were done with cheap acrylic inks. So much fun. They are way more opaque than I thought they would be once I watered them down. They spread nicely wet on wet, but I added some QOR Golden watercolor medium to my water to help them spread farther (Ox Gall would work too). No pigment or lightfastness ratings, but great for using in a sketchbook or to practice with on a canvas or watercolor paper. I used a mixed media canson graduate sketchbook for these. Not pro artist quality, but better than watering down craft acrylics. I took a star off for the lack of any info about the colors.

This is a wonderful painting set if you like to pour colors and blend then together. A little on the expensive side, but the quality makes up for the price. I have created some impressive works of armature art just for my new hobby. I will but them again soon.

I found this paint to be a little on the thin, watery side, which I presume is what a pouring paint should be? I suppose I may have ordered the wrong type of paint for my particular needs. This paint is marketed as a pouring paint, so I suppose that is why it is thinner than other acrylic paints I have purchased? I had to use two coats on my paint projects (metal garden ornaments). I think the colors were vibrant, once two coats were used and there is a nice variety of colors. Live and learn. I would still give it five stars for the price and variety of colors.
