I don’t think it caused new hair growth, but my hair feels softer, healthier and fuller. However, they don’t claim that the shampoo causes new hair growth. My hair is naturally on the oily side. I am thrilled with this product. I’m buying the larger version of it. I use it frequently when I wash my hair. I can’t believe the difference in just this amount of time it’s been a month now almost and my hair is visibly thicker and fuller even within a few washings, I could see the difference if your hair is thinning definitely use this to prevent thinning useless this is a product that you should definitely have it’s worth every penny it might be pricey, but it’s worth it.
