Excellent pan all the way around...
I went with this pan as my previous nonstick of another brand is no longer in production. I was well pleased with it for many years and didn't see a reason to not purchase another. This one was among the (very) few I was considering. I've never been disappointed in an OXO product of any type, and this pan is no exception. It is extremely easy to clean, I generally use a wet paper towel and a drop of dish soap. Nothing, and I mean nothing has stuck to this pan enough to need anything further. It heats up evenly across the bottom, and holds heat particularly when adding cold ingredients or cooking in batches. The handle is solidly attached and comfortable to hold even when scooping food onto different plates when serving. It's light enough to not be fatiguing either. Given the comparison to my last nonstick pan of this size, I anticipate this remaining usable and in good condition for years to come. I really wish I'd purchased it sooner.

1 Star Customer Service on Otherwise 5 Star Product.
Beware of product support. This is my second OXO pan. Up until this purchase I was very pleased with OXO. However, a few months after my purchase, I noticed food beginning to stick in one area of the pan. Quite rapidly this got worse. The area where food sticks is about the size of an egg. In the center of that area, the coating chipped. Now, oxo is a great brand and I assumed exchanging the pan wouldn't be a problem. As per the OXO website, I filled out the form. A few days later, I got an email stating that warranty issues were actually handled by a different company and gave me their email address. Why they couldn't forward my issue to that other company I don't know. But with extra hoops to jump through like this I wonder how many issues they avoid. I forwarded my complaint. A few days later I got a reply asking for photos of the pan. Again, a step I followed when I completed the original form, but apparently didn't get forwarded with my second email. So included photos of yet pan and sent those along. Today I got a reply explaining that chipping was normal and the pan was actually safe. She completely ignored the fact that this expensive no-stick pan is sticking. The chipping happened after the pan lost its no-stick surface. So, I'm throwing away this garbage pan, and incredibly disappointed by OXO's response. Not so much about the pan, but I was truly a fan of OXO's quality and just assumed an issue like this would be met with a bit more of a sense of urgency. Clearly, OXO doesn't care.

Works Great / The nonstick performance is excellent
I wanted one nonstick pan to go along with our regular metal pans for occasional needs (like frying eggs, etc.) This one seems great. It feels well made with a good weight. And so far the non-stick surface is holding up well. I like that it's PFAS free.

Such a great frying & cooking pan!
I bought this pan to replace an old teflon pan that was worn out. This pan is ready to go right out of the box with just a quick rinse/wash, no seasoning or heating in the oven required. This pan is absolutely non-stick and I love cooking with it. No regrets at all & worth the money. The top cover fits well and the pan is properly flat so oils don’t pool on the sides or center. It makes cooking eggs (and pretty much anything else) so easy because not even a single piece of egg gets stuck to the pan! More eggs in my belly, lol. I always use a little butter in the pan and I’m pretty sure OXO recommends using some kind of cooking lubricant (oil or butter, etc.) in the pan but you might not even need to. It’s a great pan and I already recommended it to a family member who bought one for themselves after trying mine, so go for it 🙂.

Good, not great, Non-Stick frying pan.
I've ordered this Oxo frying pan twice now. The first one lasted about 1 1/2 years before the non-stick coating was no longer effective. I use it frequently and always only hand wash it, rather than putting into the dishwasher, in order to make it last longer. Even with that, it began to stick after only about 1 year and 6 months. I do use it once or twice a week and really like this frying pan, so I decided to order a replacement. The reason I only gave it 4, rather than 5 stars, is because with hand washing it only, with mild soap, and for the price, I think the non-stick coating should be more durable. Other than that, it is a very good frying pan while it lasts.

Not a good purchase, unfortunately!
Very disappointed with this purchase! I listened to several of the testimonies of people who purchased this pan and can't understand why it just didn't work for me! Everything, even BACON sticks to this pan. Unbelievable! Total waste of my money. Probably will give it away. Maybe it will work for someone else. It was okay in the beginning when I first got it but it was getting worse and worse as I kept using it. Guess you cannot trust the testimonials. Very disappointing!

Great no stick pan
This is a great no stick pan & at least as far as I can tell doesn’t have the same chemicals as other no stick pans which I opted to not get because I don’t want unhealthy chemicals in my pan. Things like that just tend to not work out well in the long run in my opinion. Research it yourself though in case I’m wrong or missed something. I put a touch of Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the pan, heat it up to a 3 or 4 on my stove then crack a few eggs on it sunny side up & they don’t stick. Eggs are my kind of litmus test for how well a no stick pan works. Scrambled probably gives a better indication, I just don’t really make em that way. As far as no stick pans go it seems like they have to be replaced every so often because they’ll eventually lose their no stick factor. That’s another reason I like this because I don’t want to spend a lot of money on pans I have to replace every so often. To make the no stick factor last longer, I recommend to wash it by hand. Personally I just rinse it with the spray nozzle in my sink or if I let it sit or think I need it I just use some soap & a towel or paper towel lol.

Worst Nonstick Pans Ever
I've owned a lot of pans in my life and these are hands down the absolute worst nonstick pans. I wish I could give zero stars. Scrambling eggs in these is painful. The egg sticks to the entire surface of the frying pan. I probably lose half an egg to the frying pan every time.

Non-stick? NOT!
This is the stickiest pan I've ever owned. Very disappointed. This from GreenPan support: "Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a simmer for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a safe sturdy surface. Carefully use a Melamine sponge (Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or our Restoring Sponge) and a little plain water on the warm surface to wipe away the food or stuck on oil. This should do the trick. The restoring sponge recommended for deep cleaning is perfectly safe. Our Product Team has tested this product for safety and durability. The sponge contains pores, which when moved around your pan, enables it to grab food and oil particles. Our cookware is coated and sealed and therefore, nothing will leach into your pan. Once the deep cleaning is complete, you may wash your pan as you normally would." It did help a little.

Area on pan where the nonstick coat is defective
This would be a superior product except that there is an area about 4" diameter where the nonstick coating is defective. In this area food sticks like crazy. I didn't use the pan until the 30 day period for returns expired so I now have to spent time with customer service trying to see if they will honour the warranty (a previous review had me not feeling optimistic). I'll update/adjust my rating if I'm able to get a replacement product.

Too shallow
Great pan and love the lid but it’s too shallow to do most of what I bought it for. Nowhere could I find the pan capacity and the pictures are misleading.
