I purchased these for a specific number of doors, but if I have any left over, I will change out the ikea hinges in a heartbeat. I like these a lot better. I suggest familiarizing yourself with the parts before trying to install. #1, the hinge and hinge plate separate by using a simple button at the end of the hinge. Push button to release, and the hinge plate falls out. Hook the plate into the hinge and press together at the button end to secure the pieces in place. Try taking them apart a few times to get the hang of how the hinge will clip onto the plate. This will help when its time to mount the door. #2 Once you install the plate (the part that goes inside the cabinet), you simply mount the other piece (the hinge) onto the door.
