Ivilon Drapery Treatment Window Curtain Rod - Ball Style, 48 to 86 Inch. Color White/Ivory

I have bought several of these, 3 besides this last set, to be exact, I love them, they are my style and they were all beautiful, AND, without any scratches!(See photos attached. The ball on the right doesn't look as bad in these shots, but it is still badly scratched, the left one DOES show it though, also there is some kind of a chemical looking area that appears to have removed the finish)I had read 'after' I bought these that people were starting to get scratches on the finials, even if I had read that before I bought it wouldn't have made a difference because I had already bought then 3 before this last set. I trust the company that makes, or, sells these, to do their job like they have done in the past, and that "past" is fairly recent too, I am not talking about years.(I need to set this straight, I bought from a company called, "Bali" before, this is the first time that I have bought from this company called, "Nesheck2"... They are still identical, they must be sold by different companies)So, while I love the design and the previous ones that I had bought, I would be VERY WARY of these, not unless you don't care about scratches at all. There may be a good chance of you receiving them scratched, just like I did and others before me.Somebody there needs to listen to this, they need to see what is going on that makes them get scratched! This was packaged well, it was wrapped in a SEPARATE thick plastic pocket then also placed in an area made for it inside of the cardboard box.This is really unacceptable!However, I don't want to go through the hassle of sending them back and all the trouble that may, or may not entail, I have way too many things going on right now that I don't want to spend the time on this kind of stuff.The scratches on mine cannot be seen in this particular application due to the bright window that it is on, and, it is up high and out of any normal person's sight.I have two more LARGE windows (120" wide) that I would like to buy for again, but, I won't because they need to remedy the problem, the problem is Quality Control somewhere in their company, from the beginning when it is made, to the point of when it is being packaged, this is NOT an accident in shipping, it is before it is being shipped.Nesheck2, please do something, you have a really good product that its name is starting to put in a negative zone.As of right now, I would hold off buying these until they fix this unnecessary problem.Aside from that, they are very well made, strong, and look very nice!I would've given this 2 STARS but I do like them, when they fix the internal problems I might come back and change this review, all depending on how they react to us buyers that have scratches.

Unless you need a rod that's this narrow in diameter, buy a slightly bigger one. I bought the longest one and it has 4 brackets so it will hold up heavy thermal drapes w/out sagging, but it looks a bit chintzy. I had it professional installed and the carpenter said that the screw that holds the brackets tight against the rod [not the ones screwing it into the wall] were already stripping after he opened and closed them twice. I bought this narrow one because I was having trouble finding drapery rings to fit my one inch diameter rod, but the Ivilon rings do fit one inch rods and look much better on something w /a bit more bulk.

We first ordered a different rod and shopped at JCPenney's as well. This rod was superior to any others I looked at in this price range. It is sturdy, attractive although not fancy and I like the style of the brackets. They are very easy to put up. We ordered the 72-144" rod and it came with 4 brackets. We used only 3 brackets as we did not fully extend the rod. It feels very sturdy not wobbly or cheap at all.

I like the look and design of the rod - that the finial fits both on the end of the entire assembled rod, or to make it shorter, on either end of just half the rod....but the directions did not make this shortening clear and I have certainly never seen any designed that way before...so more instruction might be good. My only true issue is that brackets themselves are all one piece and in no way adjustable, which was an issue for us as the way our windows are designed would require us to have an adjustable bracket in the middle - so we were unable to use a middle bracket - however the rod sags so very little in the middle that it is imperceptible.

They're curtain rods, so if you're experienced like me there's no mystery to putting them up. The brackets have a 2-stage setup though that helps make the mounting a little simpler, you don't have to hold the bracket in place and balance a screwdriver while you initially get the thing up on the wall. That's nice. Once it's up it looks good as well. My only minor gripe is that some dust or grit got in the packaging so when I extended the rods there was minor scratching on the small piece. Not visible most of the time and it's fairly minor so I wouldn't bother returning it. Overall feels nice and helps spruce up the room.

I really like these curtain rods. But I would caution that you may want to order a size up. I ordered the small size that extends to 48. I had it extended to 45 inches, it started to sag in the middle where the rods connect. I wanted to see how these looked before I ordered for more windows. I'm ordering the next size up even though the size seems way too long, just to correct the issue with the sagging in the middle of the rod. Otherwise, I think they are good quality for the price. I like that all the hardware, including anchors, are included. My end finial balls were a little scratched, but can't really tell when they are hung up. The packaging is very nice. I was surprised to see any scratches at all. I would give this product 5 stars if there was no sagging in the middle. Should't really happen with a window as small as mine is, when I bought the correct size.

I have a double rod in my living room but the package with the double rod holder only came with one rod, so I was in need of a reasonably priced decorative rod to hold the valance.This Ivilon Ball Style Window Curtain Rod was the perfect solution! It looks great and holds my valance without issue.While it includes the hardware, I only needed to use the rod, as I already had hardware for a double on my wall.My order arrived quickly and was extremely well packaged to protect the finials during the shipping process.Very satisfied with my purchase and happy to recommend both the rod and the company that offers it.

This is a beautifully made rod that strongly resembles the wood ones I have in my Home. Nicely made with an affordableprice. Everything is included; finals and mounting hardware.

I'm happy with the new curtain rod. It is exactly as described and is working well. We've installed it behind our main curtain rod to hang sheers. It is strong and looks beautiful.
