Great Book. Great Run
Mackay does it again. He really gets the character of Moon Knight. This book also brings in Werewolf by Night whose book Moon Knight originally debuted in. The art looks great. The way he’s drawn almost looks like he’s glowing like moonlight. And without spoiling it, there’s an encounter with some vampires towards the end that’s absolutely fantastic.

Anointed Fists Of Khonshu
This was absolutely enjoyable from beginning to end (Vol.1-3). Jed MacKay has woven together a Moon Knight masterpiece. The storytelling and character development are first rate/top notch. Its because of writing like this that Moon Knight is quickly becoming my all time favorite. The artwork is really good as well. The glowing aura around Spector throughout the series was pretty cool. There was only one throw away story. It's the Annual issue in Vol. 3 with Jack Russell (Werewolf By Night). It completely interrupted the rhythm of the story arc and really isn't essential. Other than that...loved it.MORE MOON KNIGHT PLEASE!!

BEST MOONKNIGHT SERIES def
Jed Mckay really understands how to make this character great. Moonknight has gone through multiple characterizations but this one really hit it so well. It really shows how troubled he is with his mental illness and also shows very well the awesome powers that make him who he is. The comedy in this book is a 4/10. But the rest of everything I would rate 4.5-4.8/10. Truly one of the most fun comics I've committed myself to reading. Im always excited for a new issues to pop up

Three Times The Charm
4.5/5 star ratingCollecting issues #13 0 #18 and MOON KNIGHT ANNUAL #1,after the ending from MOON KNIGHT volume 2, Zodiac is done for and that means Moon Knight can move on to other pressing matters. That big matter being The Structure, group of vampires that made their presence known way back in issue #1. The group are starting a pyramid-scheme of vampires in New York and hired two metahumans to kill Moon Knight as he is in their way. Now Marc needs to not only find the Structure and who is in charge of the group, but also fight off the assassins who want him dead. Marc needs a little help in this, and that means getting it from his closest allies: Jake Lockley and Steven Grant, his two split personalities.I’m still impressed that Moon Knight by Jed McKay is still maybe the best Marvel ongoing book (tied with Chip Zdarsky’s Daredevil run). I completely forgot that back in issue #1 was about vampires and thought that was a one-off issue leading into the Zodiac as the main threat for 12 issues. But McKay goes back to that plot line that was planted early on if and when he could come back to is really cool and this whole volume is all about. It has that bluntness about his Moon Knight that no other comic does still that I love. Marc is just no-nonsense about his conviction to fight for his cause that makes for a strong-willed character that I continue to love here. Marc dealing with two low-level metahumans while also trying to find The Structure comes off nicely with some twist and turns still abound after three volumes that even include a surprise death of a character here. While The Structure is the main story plot here, McKay also highlights one of the defining aspects of Moon Knights history of his Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Too many past Moon Knight stories play his DID into convoluted storytelling, but McKay handles it well and easy to process for new readers. They resurface from the end of the past volume and issues #13 -15 deal with their inclusion that plays out well, explains their various roles into finding information about the two assassins and The Structure, but also doesn’t get in the way of the main plot. I think this is a great way of finally answering the elephant in the room about Moon Knights past lore and identity tied to his DID. It will be interesting in future volumes how and if his personalities will play out for the better or worse. The annual #1 is a standalone issue that has Moon Knight lock horns with WEREWOLF BY NIGHT rival/ally, Jack Russell. This issue also harkens back to past lore about Moon Knights daughter. It’s a fun done-in-one story that came out around Halloween and shows the long history MOON KNIGHT and WEREWOLF BY NIGHT have had in comics. It’s a story that might or might not be in-continuity, so time will tell if this is part of Jed McKay’s Moon Knight run.All art continues to be drawn by Alessandro Cappuccio and back-up artist Federico Sabbatini. The artwork continues to complement McKays scripts and I’m all for it.Now while I did give the past two volumes 5-stars, and yes, I am giving this 5-stars as well, I do think this volume is weaker than the past two. The episodic nature tied to a bigger plot that made up the past twelve issues is gone here in favor of traditional modern-day story telling. The annual being standalone story, three issues about Marcs DID, and The Structure story are not quite as interesting as the past two volumes. It does feel like a bit of a filler volume for things to come later. It’s still a great book, just has more exposition about it that slows it down a little bit.Still, MOON KNIGHT VOLUME 3: HALFWAY TO SANITY is still a solid book from Jed McKay that I have loved every volume of this series thus far and volume 3 continues to shine, in my eyes, even after Zodiac has been defeated. It’s just a little bit weaker, but I do love this series enough to warrant a full 5-star rating.

Predictable
The story has become a slog and a predictable conclusion results in a mediocre payoff. Plus a nonsense inclusion of the one shot Werewolf story that could have been better played off in the main arc. I had high hopes for this run and it looks like art and writing are shortly petering out.
