Can hold about half of a large 2.2 lb bag of beans (so I assume about 1lb). Double seal mechanism: an inside lid that slides down to minimize dead space, and another lid to cover the top. Inner seal has a folding handle that doubles as a vacuum release/lock for ease of sealing and opening (easy to use). Stainless interior is easy to clean. I have two of these in different colors: brushed copper and white. Finish is nice, and they stack to minimize counter space. Have not noticed any strange odors, my espresso beans maintain their normal beautiful scent!
