I have over 10 Shun knives now, for the price of a true Japanese knife it's hard to beat. Shun's free sharpening service sealed the deal.

Stunningly beautiful and cuts like a dream. Very well made Japanese knife and absolutely worth the investment as it will last a lifetime.

Shun is a great knife, premier series is one of my favorites, and the blond version is just beautiful. Long lasting knives too

I purchased this knife in February. The blade is already rusted and is missing a small broken piece. I expected much more from a $150 knife! I have to mention that I don’t even cook much. I tried to contact the manufacturer, I was told to fill out a form, mail out the knife and the form plus a check in case they needed to send replacement, after evaluation of the damage. Basically pay more money to have no guarantee to either have a knife or your money back. Be aware!

Meets expectations.
