Great fit for the basic nest thermostat
Perfect fit for my nest thermostat, added to the overall appearance in the room. My nest was manufactured in 2024

Got this to use to cover up the hole from the old thermostat in my son’s nursery and it works well! Easy to use & install - looks nice!

Great
This looks so much better with a nest than the rectangle options that are more prevalent. I unfortunately had to return it because my thermostat wiring is in a junction box so I am stuck with a rectangle after all, but I definitely would have preferred this one.

Difficulties Installing
The setup on our unit was completely different than any that we had seen in numerous YouTube videos and all the help videos for the nest. Ended up buying the nest connector because we didn't have the c wire, and still had to hire someone to come set it up. Ended up sending the cwire back because the technician fixed it somehow. I got it hoping it would save money on our power bill, but if anything I think it has made it go up.
