Review: Tesla Model Y 7 seat configuration - I was concerned that this may not fit my 2021 Tesla Model Y 7 seat configuration but It fit perfectly with a matching nice clean appearance. Make sure you select your correct Tesla seat configuration as the 5 seat and 7 seat configuration is different. I have attached video to show the fit and finish. I also attached a picture of the inserts. As others have mentioned the packaging is not great so one of them delivered a bit crushed. I believe once installed and filled for a few days in the Florida heat it will bounce back into the original shape. I would purchase again. After 5 months carpet became separated from the panel itself. I was able to glue it back together.

**Q: does this fit a 2022 Y built in Austin?**
A: Yes. They worked for my tesla y made in Austin that I purchased in Feb. The left bin was a bit bent during shipping but has straightened out once the sun has warmed the car. Like other reviewers mentioned you do have to press them down farther then you expect. I’m very happy with my purchase. I had planned to order directly from Tesla but those offered did not fit my car. These were a great alternative.

A: hello, i hope this gets to the manufacturer.. I have a brand new 2023 Model Y. I purchased these cubbys, not from this seller but from Teslarati. Turns out the 2023 has a slightly different layout in the back and as such, the drivers side cubby was snug but fit OK, however the passenger side barely fit and moreover, the cover was too big. Teslarati admitted the failed foresight on the new design and while they don't yet have a replacement, they did offer me a free return.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loving these in my 7-seater Model Y (make sure the sub trunk cover is flipped the right way!)

A package of corn tortillas disappeared into one of the side storage areas in the rear cargo area of my 7-seater Model Y, molded, and stunk up the car. So I went in search of trunk side storage bins with covers. The Tesla OEM storage bins are only available for the 5-seater so I expanded my search and found these. When I first installed them, the rubber inserts stuck up a few centimeters above the level of the rear most section of the cargo area. When the 3rd row seats are folded flat in my 7-seater Model Y, the rear most section of the cargo area is lower than the rest of the cargo area - some describe it as a “bump” in floor of the cargo area. Turns out that the sub trunk cover can be flipped over to raise the rear most section of the cargo area, making the entire cargo area flat. Now the rear most section of the cargo area matches the height of the rubber inserts. Problem solved and I am loving these!
