Helped my dog stop licking his bottom
My dog is a labradoodle with cocker. He is constantly licking his behind and it stinks horribly. We cannot get his anal glands expressed often enough.Vet said try not to give things with yeast. I saw the happy belly bars and tried them. Immediately we have seen a decrease in how often he licks his behind. Love these!!!!

My dog loves them!
These Finley's Soft Chew Benefit Bars Dog Treats (Skin, Coat & Nails) are great! My dog loves them and I actually did see an improvement in her coat. She doesn't seem to be as itchy too which is always a good thing. I will get these again when I run out!

Large treats that support a good cause
I gave this treat 3 stars for flavor, but that's really just a guess. I never tried it myself, and I presume Amazon is not asking me to. As for my dog... she's not a picky eater at all, but she isn't enthused by these treats. She will eat them, but she eats other things first. She's never not eaten them, so I'm thinking that's equivalent to a 3 star rating for flavor. These treats are pretty big so they can definitely be broken into smaller pieces as a reward. My dog is a larger mutt so I like to occasionally give her big treats that require her to chew instead of just gulping a small tidbit. I also like these treats support a good cause. That brings the overall rating to 4 stars and a worthwhile purchase.

Both dogs love them, and their coats look great!
I ordered these as healthy treats for our two dogs, a purebred chocolate Lab and a black Lab mix who's my mobility dog. With a working dog in the house, I'm always searching for treats to keep him in top condition because I rely on him to keep me walking, and of course the pet gets the same nutrition to make things simple. These aren't the highest-quality treats I've given him, but they do have all recognizable ingredients (mixed tocopherols is vitamin E, which helps both to preserve nutrients and assist in absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, as well as contributing to making their coats shiny). They do have a roasted fish smell to them, which some people might find too smelly, but the dogs will run from the other room when they hear a package open and when they get in the room and smell these, their butts both plunk right down (fast enough I'm surprised they don't get friction burns as their front paws haven't quite stopped yet!) and they sit and drool waiting for one of these treats, so apparently they don't mind at all!At effectively $20 a bag, these aren't cheap as far as treats go, but there are probably about 50 treats in it, so they're at a fair price for a moderately high-quality treat.

1 dog likes them, the other dog does not
One of my dogs likes these but the other one does not. So I guess the older one gets them all! Truthfully, she is not as picky as the younger one. I'm glad they have antioxidants, because my girl is getting older and needs all the help she can get. It's hard to rate the flavor, since I have not tasted them myself (haha!), and I have no idea how to rate "comfort"!?!?!?!

Excellent Ingredients. I Love the Goal & Mission of Finley's ...and Both of My Dog's "Benefit" Too!
This is a review of Finley's Soft Chew Benefit Bars Dog Treats (Healthy Heart). Both of my boys are awesome!Buck is a 138lb Bullmastiff. My vet calls him a GIANT pit bull, and Charlie is a 6lb mixed breed. They're both rescues so we don't know for certain.Charlie can be a "little" picky. More often than not, even when I offer him the same treat that he knows that he likes he still sniffs it before taking it. And some of those are bacon flavor, beef flavor and others that most dogs gobble down. When Charlie does *not* like a particular treat he will keep it in front of himself, look up at me, "shrug his shoulders" and look back down at the treat. He knows that Buck ate his treat and hovers over his own treat to keep Buck at bay. Brat! :)Buck is kind of the opposite of Charlie: sometimes he tries to eat a blob of gook off of the pavement while we're on a walk. Although when we first adopted Buck, he wouldn't eat the high-quality dog food we gave him. We tried organic beef bone broth powder as a topper and a few other things. It wasn't until Buck knew he was loved that he started eating just about everything including paper towels and nose tissues out of the waste basket. Problem solved: bought one with a lid. :DAnyway, since the Finely Healthy Heart bars are lamb and greens, I was thinking that Charlie was going to perform his, "I don't like this" routine. To my pleasant surprise, Charlie, sniffed it and ate it within a few seconds.Cool for me: the Finley bars are easily separated into smaller portions making it simple to give both Buck & Charlie the correct serving.I definitely recommend trying these. And Charlie approved.
