When I first started Diamond Painting a year ago I quickly realised that I needed some sort of protective storage solution for my projects. That led me to this listing and I grabbed the A3 size as it is perfect for the 30cmx40cm Diamond Painting canvases. I was so happy with it I grabbed the A2 version as well for my mid-size projects. I've just ordered my second A3 size as my original is getting close to full and the smaller projects are ideal when I don't have much free time so I get far more of those completed.The Portfolios are a really heavy duty plastic construction with a press stud tab closure. They are really hard to close when empty or when you only have a couple of images stored away but the fuller they get, the easier they close.The pockets themselves are incredibly think and work well even when you are sliding a project in and out. They also work well for storing 2 canvases in the same pocket - even 2 finished ones. Even with a lot of paintings in they remain relatively compact and will easily slide under the bed or prop up in a corner. They have a handle on the spine edge which makes transporting them or just grabbing them super easy.I use them to store kitted up projects, projects part worked and also all my completed.Definitely worth having as it gives peace of mind that you craft will be safe from spills and the dreaded dust.

This is quite a large item but my wife has some large dot art images, so... The two things I don't like about this is that the cover is very flimsy. It flops, it folds, it collapses under it's own weight and has to be stored flat or everything inside flops into the bottom of the plastic sheets. And that's the other thing. The plastic envelopes inside are similarly very soft and floppy. They would have been better served to make this more rigid, especially the envelopes. But, I guess that is just not how things are done in this day and age.As it is this thing is acceptable. It stores up to A1 sized dot art, it has a reasonable number of envelopes. I would advise that you brace each image you put in here with some rigid card. Perhaps a couple a2 or an a1 1mm card to give it a little bit of strength. You can also clip the dot art to that card and hopefully prevent it from collapsing in the envelope when you pick this up. We glued a sheet of card to the inside of the cover as well as it really is quite weak.I do not think this is value for the price. It is cheaply made with cheap materials, and at the minimum level they can get away with. The design is simplistic and basic. It does what it says and you can get a fair number of images in this, but, well, this is more something you get to protect the dot art while you look for something better.It would be nice if the company that sell this would provide extra sheets for it as well, but I've not managed to find any. Unfortunate considering how expensive this is.I am a little disappointed with this purchase, but it was essential in order to protect the dot art my wife has already completed that we don't want hanging on the wall at the moment.c'est la vie
