Works great for crate training
I purchased the Furbo primarily to give my puppy food rewards when she is calm in the crate, and to be able to check on her when we leave the house. It works great for these purposes with a wire crate. I put the Furbo on the floor next to the crate, with the ejection spout centered between two wires. It was well priced during prime day. If I had to pay full price for it, I might look at cheaper alternatives. I am not using the rotating, tracking, or smart alert features of the Furbo. I'm not using its speaker that allows you to remotely talk to your dog. I've heard that some dogs get stressed hearing their person's voice when they are away from home, and I don't want to chance that. I recorded silence for the treat toss sound, so as not to alarm the puppy. I load the Furbo with dog kibble, and set the treat size to "small". The bark alert feature works well when its sensitivity is set to "medium". There are a few false positives triggered by people talking in the house, but if I set it to "low" it misses some barking. I turn off the bark alerts when I am home, but enable them when I leave the house. Although the Furbo comes with few instructions other than the setup guide, it's very easy to setup and use. There is a tutorial built into the app that explains how to use it. I'm not planning to use the Dog Nanny subscription, but it came with a free month of service that was automatically turned on. I found the service to be overly intrusive. It flooded my phone with alerts. Eventually I found the settings screen for the Nanny alerts and turned them all off. I'm not planning to pay for the service when the free month ends. The service might be more valuable to someone who lets their pets roam free when they are out of the house, but my puppy is always crated when left alone. I was nervous about the many negative reviews that complained about Furbo losing Wifi access, but I found its internet communication to be rock solid. Since I installed it, we have had a power failure and an internet outage, but the Furbo recovered from both of those and automatically reconnected. Others complained that their dog was able to remove the lid and steal treats, but the lid on my Furbo fits very tight and my dog is unable to open it. Furbo is a quality and reliable product, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Furbo 360 Pet Camera
Wow! I have so much peace of mind with my Furbo 360 camera. Being able to check in on my puppy at any time and talk to her is so nice. I love the Nanny service that gives me updates letting me know when she’s barking, crying, or just resting.

Better than I thought
This actually worked a lot better than I thought. The AI feature is nice but you do have to pay a small price. My puppy has been crying when no one is home and the AI did a pretty good job at distracting him and calming down. It even gives him treats when he calms down. I actually feel like there is a nanny there to calm him down. My 2 issues are 1) that I have to pay for the Nanny AI feature but since price isn’t too bad I’m willing to overlook. 2) the wireless can be laggy at times. But Nanny is smart enough to care of my puppy before the laggy wireless lets me log in to calm him myself.

Love! Love! Love!
My daughter came home one day with a corgi and as young adults do they seem to forget that a dog is a living breathing being that has feelings too. This baby was just 3 months old coming into a new home and it's new mama too busy to spend time with him. In her defense she works two jobs ft. I work ft and so he was being left alone. I couldn't take it anymore wondering if he was okay in his kennel so I bought this furbo. I can say that is one of the best purchases I've made. I did get the upgraded 2022 version and also subscibed to the nanny. The picture quality is good and I can be at work and talk to Benjamin as I toss him a few treats. It gives alerts such as if the dog is barking or if there is smoke the 360 degrees rotating camera even helps me keep an eye out for when my daughter gets home from work if I'm gone at the time. The clips are 15 seconds long but will continue as long as there is movement. It was very easy to set up but remember to switch it off when your home or it will record everything. Nothing like seeing yourself in a nightshirt grabbing a coke from the fridge at 1 am. Eekkk! I don't want that being saved to the cloud! The only Con is that you can only delete the video clips one by one. That's a pain in the tookas. However I did contact furbo last week and they said that they are working on updating to delete multiple videos at one time. Now that I have my Lily they both share the camera taking selfies and getting treats. I still have to say I am very happy with this product. I also have recommended it to pet owner coworkers. They loved seeing Benjamin and Lily. Some of them still snatch my phone just to get onto to see them and shoot treats. I use puppy kibble as treats because buying actual treats can get expensive.

glitchy software/app, not reliable but an unanticipated benefit
***update 5/18/2024*** i went back into the office in december and made the mistake of buying a year of the nanny/camera recording stuff. not sure what i was thinking here other than i was anxious to be going back into the office. i’ve used other cameras with subscriptions (ring, google/nest, blink, off brand) - thought this one would be good to make sure my dog is ok and having the rotation feature + treats. for the first couple of months, i had a person coming in during the afternoon - so i’d check on my dog after the person left. the very first day, she was anxious and pacing around - i tried to give her a treat and then she was seemingly choking/dry heaving but i couldn’t tell for sure. i debated calling my neighbor, but first decided to review the footage to make sure that was what i saw. long story short, the footage anytime i was watching the dog was never there. it recorded occasional other times when i wasn’t watching - but whenever i’d check on the dog i noticed that footage was not recorded/stored. i reported this and after several non-responses and/or “there are no issues,” software reinstalls, etc - i gave up. i just put out ring cams and never give her treats remotely anymore because i don’t want her choking!! the best function for me is still being able to give her a treat via alexa command when i’m home cooking or off doing something else in the house and she’s being good. the camera is disappointing and paid subscription (that i wasn’t able to cancel) useless. if you’re going to try it, i recommend trying it a month first. i figured this would be of the level of any other camera subscription i had gotten in the past, and that was definitely not the case. the good news is my dog has handled the transition to 3 days in the office really well! 8/12/2022 i have a 10 month old puppy and don’t leave her alone uncrated yet - but thought i’d use this to get her used to it and watch her in the crate while away (and take advantage of the prime deal). the software is not reliable (using iphone 12 pro) and the free trial sold against itself. the diary video thing is fun, but it suddenly stopped and didn’t work for days before i noticed (had to restart the device to get it to work again). it will also randomly be pointing at a wall or turn where there is no motion i see anywhere and not be pointed toward the dog. i agree with others that the alerts are annoying and at times inaccurate…she has been sprawled out on the floor half asleep and i’ll get an alert that she’s getting active or chewing (beta!) or something like that. the best part of this device for me has been the ability to throw a treat from the other side of the room. i’m trying to get my dog to leave me alone when i’m doing food prep stuff in the kitchen. she pretty much understands and is getting better about it - but it’s great to be able to reward her hands free via alexa and not have to stop with the food prep to walk over and give her a treat, or fidget with my phone. with the treats, i tried several different recommended treats but had struggles similar to what another person said - some seemed to get caught and trip the launcher up… and then later it would shoot out multiple. i have found that charlee bear grain free crunch treats work the best and they’re very crunchy so the sound of her eating them from the other side of the room is cute. i think furbo has potential but it’s not fully there yet for me; and i definitely wouldn’t pay full price.

Tranquilidad absoluta

Probably my best ever decision of Amazon products I have ever purchased.
Fantastic product. I bought 2 for my dog Sprite and what they do is reassure her when indoors on her own and she even recognises which one is going to throw her a treat based on either the yellow light on the base or the blue light on the base that is throwing her a treat. I haven’t opted for the subscription as it currently serves purpose to keep her calm and fed when I am out at work. The app allows me to watch from either camera, rotate to check on her and respond if she is anxious with treat, 360 motion or voice commands. So good I would buy another 2 at some stage for other rooms to extend her security, comfort and my vision of her movements through the day. Excellent product and I would absolutely vouch for the convenience and security I have for my dog via this product.

Makes leaving 6 month old puppy alone doable
My 6-month-old puppy, which I'm raising on my own, was not happy being left alone in the daytime. She would go crazy. I could leave her with a chew or a kong but that would last at most 10 minutes. I needed to leave her alone for an hour or two at a time. This is a great device that allows me to leave her alone with confidence. The treat firing ability works really well with the 0.5cm treats I use. It will fire anywhere from 1-5 treats at once, which as long as I don't fire them out too regularly is okay. I aim the treats to be fired on her bed, so when they fire she has a snuffle around for a few mins to find them. I have used this treat firing to create a positive association for her to be left alone. Now if I leave the room, she instantly goes and looks at the camera waiting for a treat. She basically stares at the camera most of the time I'm out. It is her God. She still doesn't love being left alone (as you would not expect a young puppy to), but at least she is quiet and calm. The camera is good quality for a live camera and is perfectly good enough to see what she's up to. The only negative i could really say is i have had two or three times when the treats have not fired as they got jammed in the mechanism. This is obviously not ideal, but hasn't happened often enough for it to be a huge problem. There are quite a few features in the app, and there is a subscription mode that offers some interesting features like saving clips of what your dog gets up to throughout the day. I found I didn't need any of that. The camera does have a mic so you can hear what's going on which is useful. You can also speak to your dog, but presumably, because my voice is not coming from me, the most reaction I get when trying to give commands or even say her name is a slightly bemused head tilt. I would say if you're looking for a solution to leave your dog alone then this is an absolute life-saving bit of kit.

So far so good
So far this camera is working out for me and my Maltese. It's been good at calming her down as I train this 3 month old to being left in the crate. Love being able to check in ....I'll update once I have had the camera for 3 months
