Basic, Simple....a great little knife
IF "made in China" is offensive, than this knife is probably NOT the knife brand for you because that's where it's made. I bought this little knife for mostly opening boxes and packages coming into the shop, but the lil' yellow stinker has managed to whittle it's way into my pocket outside of there quite frequently.Initially, I just looking for a basic, simple, one-bladed pocket knife that didn't cost me a small fortune.I was not disappointed with this particular one. Good lock up, not too hard to pull the blade, bright yellow helps makes it easier to see where I left it as I'm always setting it down, get busy and not paying attention where i put it. Blade is centered and not loose at all. It has many of the qualities of a much more expensive knives.About the only cmplaint, like others have mentioned, it was a little gritty out of the box, but a good cleaning/oiling and working with it has made it smooth out rather nicely....no complaints with that now.It didn't take me too long to get it razor sharp, and it seesm to hold the edge fairly well for a knife at this price point. It's not made of the best knife blade steel out there, but it is more than adequate for the use it was purchased for. FWIW, when it does start to dull, and it will, I give it a few passes on my strop and it's right back to being plenty sharp enough for the purposes that it's used for.On top of all of that, IF I do happen to lose it, I'm not out a big ole bunch of money.Overall, I'm wll-pleased with it as it meets my needs quite well.Bottom line: I just like it.

Good size and value
Great second knife. very easy to get razor sharp was able to shave my arm hairs very easily. However, not great for heavy duty work . Fits comfortably in fifth pocket

Decent option for the price
Action was a bit rough out of the box, but the fit and finish and centering were great. But after a bit of oil and working it in, the action is great. A really solid option at the price. You might be better off with a Rough Ryder if you can afford to spend $5-10 more, but if you’re on a tight budget this is a good option for a sodbuster-style knife.

Great value and functionality
The media could not be loaded. For 10 USD it is well worth it.The blade is not perfectly centered or razor sharp, but out of the box it had a decent working edge on a hollow ground blade. The only other complaint I could add is that the back spring was pretty stiff so I added a drop of 3-in-1 Tool oil to keep it moving well and haven’t had a problem with it since. From what I measured:Sharpened edge- 2.75 in/7 cmBlade length (tip to handle)- 3 in/7.6 cmHandle length- 3.75 in/9.5 cmOverall length- 6.75 in/17.1 cmBlade thickness- 1/16 inch /1.5 mmBlade width:- 5/8 in /16 mm

I love these "sod buster" knives
I love these sod buster knives, so when I misplaced the one I got in July 2017 (for $8) I had to order another ($10 - Aug 2024).

Old school cool
For the price this is a great knife! It’s obviously not a case but the price reflects it. Highly recommend for a back pocket beater

Excellent
I had gotten the larger one a couple of years ago. This one is smaller which is exactly what I wanted. Quality was great on both. I do like the bright color.I don't think you can beat these for the price to use or gift.
