I recently purchased the Godox 2PCS FW30x120cm/12 x 47 Bowens Mount Strip Honeycomb Grid Softbox, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The quality of these softboxes is outstanding. They provide excellent diffusion, creating beautiful, soft lighting that enhances my photography and video work. What really impressed me was the thoughtful design and build quality—everything feels sturdy and well-made. The price point is fantastic, especially considering the high-quality results they deliver. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of quality and affordability. I highly recommend these softboxes to anyone looking to improve their lighting setup. I would buy them again in a heartbeat! Sturdy and works fine. My time spent assembling it was excessive. Maybe there is a trick to it but getting it all the stretch out and insert the connectors was difficult. I only assembled one of the pack of two. I have a round soft box from another vendor, similar size and price point that folds open and closed quite easily. Rectangular vs round might be an apples to oranges comparison. As a soft box in and of itself it was fine for my purposes.

I have 2 rectangular soft boxes that just weren't giving me the light that I needed. This one gives great light for a photo shoot. I also used it for some head shots on location and was able to set-up quickly because of how easy it is to pop this softbox open and then close down after your shoot. This is a great addition for any photographers gear.

There's a reason these 30cmx120cm boxes are cheaper than some of the alternatives....they're very simple...heavy duty silver fabric over black with a velcro backing and universal Bowen's mount. But...no instructions, so it is far from clear which holes to use and, once you have all four poles in place you're pretty much stuck as it is near impossible to remove the poles without tearing the fabric. To be fair, they are effective soft boxes and it's a nice bonus that they come with grids when others (I'm looking at you Westcott...I use your lights) charge around $50 just for a grid (and $200 for each box)...so the price is good. Fortunately I have a large storage closet I use for photo stuff and I can leave these assembled all the time. I don't want to have to fight them every time and ON DAY ONE I have already created a small tear at the base of the velcro (around the mount) of one and slightly bent two poles from applying too much force when trying to disassemble. Bottom line...as others have said, not great for transporting (set-up and tear-down) but the price and included grid mean I have more money to spend on lights and other photo paraphernalia.

For the price, I'm very happy! These softboxes can be a wee tough to assemble the first time because the poles are stiff, but it's not gonna be an issue if you don't plan on assemble-disassemble them regularly... I feel like the build quality is good, they are quite portable (disassembled) and I love the diffusion and grid options.
