I have mosquitos getting into my home frequently. Leaving me bitten from head to toe in the morning. I usually see them and kill about 5 or 6 at a time. The day I put these up, about a month ago, I have only seen one mosquito. She bit me, but I had put them up the day before. They work great for me and they are not too heavy. Only thing is the cord is only a foot and a half long.

This product does not work at all. I waited 2 weeks before writing this review and tried it both on the patio with plenty of Mosquitoes as well as inside to try and catch some fruit flies. After 2 weeks I could not find a single dead insect when opening the bottom - one would assume that just through random walk one of those bugs would have ended up in there.There's a little chance that it's just the particular item we received that does not work, but it is more likely that whatever Chinese company made them put a dark blue bulb in there that does not emit any significant UV light to save cost and spent some of the savings on fake reviews.I was fooled by the large number of 'verified' purchase positive reviews, but looking closer in hindsight it seems like most/all of these positive reviews here stem form 'active' and kinda sketchy accounts. I would not have thought that fake reviews that are 'verified' are economically viable, but I stand corrected.The sad part is that the actual costs for a properly functioning bug zapper are so low one would think there's no need to cheat and cut corners.I noticed that the product is unavailable from the original seller, but popping up with new sellers, probably because more negative reviews are coming in.

I have a bug problem in my office and we had no idea where they are coming from, we bought this bug zapper after we got tired of chasing the flies around, it shipped on time and it worked great, we left it on over night in the middle of the office, after a few days our bug problem was pretty much gone! I even bought one for my house!

I was a little concerned that it wouldn't work to eliminate thrips. These little flying menaces are so tiny (about 1mm long), I figured they would just fly between the wires and be safe. The day I checked, there appeared to be about 60 stuck to the wires. It was a very good solution for saving my houseplants. I still need to spray occasionally, but it isn't everyday anymore. :)

I have not seen any dead mosquitoes or bugs since i bought it....Am changing my rating to 3 stars. I does work. However the area should be totally dark and the only light should be coming from this zapper for the mosquitos and bugs to be lured into and zapped.

No instructions with this and I have no idea if it works or not. I live in an area where the heat generates flies much more than usual so I thought it would be a good thing to have. The price was great, but again, who knows if it works or not???

Product DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. Cheap plastic thing. Seriously, who are the people giving all the great reviews??? Amazon should just take this product out as there are so many genuine ONE star reviews. Something is wrong with the review system to balance out the overall stars we are seeing for this awful product that does not work as described. Waste of time and money.

Doesn't seem to kill anything. My older larger 2 light bar mosquito zapper lasted for at least 2 Texas summers and used to leave insect debris scattered around it and I rarely got bitten. With this I'm still bitten and see no insect debris. I recommend paying more for one with larger/more lights that actually gets the job done.
