The new Kask rex helmet is there to protect your dome through it all so you come out of it with a clear mind, a bit of adrenaline, and a few scratches for future battle scar comparisons -- dinosaur bites notwithstanding. The rex features Kask met technology, which is found in all its helmet offerings and includes a polycarbonate layer covering the shell at the top of the helmet, along the base ring, and across the back for claims of improved safety and protection compared to helmets without this layer. Kask uses an in-mold process to fuse the inner, extruded polystyrene layer to the polycarbonate shell for excellent structural integrity and shock absorption. Inside the helmet, the plush CoolMax padding sitting comfortably against your noggin is removable and washable for long-term, stink-free use. Borrowing from Kask road line of helmets, the rex's chinstrap is fashioned from easy to clean eco-leather for a unique pop of functional style. An adjustable visor protects your forehead from branches and debris, and doubles as a convenient shelf for goggles during shady stretches and long climbs. The rex features a strap retainer on the back of the helmet for additional goggle security, and an integrated action camera mount makes documenting the adventure a breeze.

Waste All Around
High end KASK low end quality and annoying fit. Front forehead pad fell out (somewhere), side frame strap place holder detached and fell out. Where side straps meet in a Y, they are above the bottom of your ear lobes squashing and rubbing while you ride. Yes, this helmet is designed to provide forehead protection but, the worst feature of all is, no matter what adjustment you make, or what sweat band you do or do not wear, or how you hold your head, the helmet ends up sitting just covering the tops of your eyebrows even though it's the correct size. Totally annoying piece of equipment (Not certain - but, It would not surprise me if the helmet I received is a knockoff)

Cheap quality and bad design
I had issues with this helmet from the start. Apart from two replacements that were sent with wrong color the third that arrived looked like a cheap lid.The labels are already peeling off on the edges so in a humid environment like here there will be gone within days.The rear adjustment that looks like a zip tie moves a lot and going over a curb caused the front of the helmet to hit my glasses hard causing major nose pain. Dunno if it was a faulty unit but I'm done with this brand.I do not recommend this to anybody with glasses that rides anything else than flat and the manufacturer could at least laminate their logos cause this thing feels cheap while price is high.

Very comfortable, good ventilation
Hubs loves this helmet! For many years, he had a Bell, but it wasn't as comfortable as this Kask. He says it's a great design, has really nice padding and it's super comfortable. It vents well and he loves the easy cinch down in the back. He would definitely look to Kask again when he needs a new helmet.

Excellent Helmet - 60 mile review
So far, so good with this Kask helmet. It is lightweight, adjustable in 2 directions and keeps the sun out of my eyes. I wear a bandana on my head, and the helmet still fits well, without any hot spots.Ventilation is fine, thus far, in hot AZ.I have only used this helmet for ~60 miles of riding on my touring bike.If one is concerned with the "birth date" of helmets, always ask before buying. This one, purchased new, has a "6-18" sticker, so it was ~1 year old when it arrived in my hands.

Very happy with the helmet. Fits where many others have failed.
Great helmet. I have a shape of a head where largest helmets anyone makes don't fit me. I believe it is because the head if looking from the top is more round than elongated. This one fits as a glove and is comfortable for all day rides. If you could not find the right fit before and the helmet felt like it stuck on the sides of your head and would not go lower give this one a try. You may find that it fits you also.

QUALITY
Great helmet. Best fitting system of any helmet I've ever worn. I sometime ride with my glasses that go behind the ear. This helmet doesn't fit great with them (it cover the back the the head really well). I have not had any trouble with contacts/riding glasses. Very impressed with the quality!

Pretty, comfortable, and well ventilated helmet.
Great looking helmet. Useful available adjustments for proper fit. Ventilation seems good so far. I will have to see how it fairs in the 85+ weather.Kudos to Alpine East, where I bought the helmet. Helmet arrived practically a week before I expected. The cost of the helmet was less than retail. Finally, I also received a handwritten note, a complete surprise, and a nice touch.I will buy from you guys again anytime.

Feels Cheap
With the price, I expected better details and qualities.It does not meet the expectation. The logo is sticker and i can see the edge start to peeling off.

Best MTB helmet ever owned
Perfect fit and adjustment bit heavier buy Aldo great protection. Good for xc racing and marathon, great features too. Would recomend.
