Sturdy and will fit most bikes as it connects with straps. Worth the extra few quid compared to my old basket which was the standard type (and flimsy).

I love this old fashion style basket! It's so pretty. Just waiting for the weather to improve, then it's packed lunch in my basket and off to the nearest forest on my bike to spend the day in nature. Ann

It would have been fantastic but it did not fit my disability scooter handle bar. Apart from that this basket is of superior quality and sad at haven’t to return it.

Having read the customer reviews, and as we anticipated, she loved the basket on her bicycle however the diameter of the bottle holder, is quite small. She does have a water bottle to fit the holder but not a standard size. Other than that, the basket is exactly what she had wished it to be.Still, a 5 out of 5 rating. If she’s happy, I’m happy!

Nice basket. A bit expensive, but looks classy. Bought it for my wife’s cruiser bike. Not too big (check the dimensions), but you don’t want to stuff your backpack or a week’a worth of groceries into this anyway, you’ll ruin it quickly. The thing looks reasonably sturdy, but it’s meant to be pretty, not rugged.Everyone seems weirdly focused on the ring, so I’ll drop my two cents. Honestly, I can’t understand the issue people are having with it. Maybe they are using it wrong.It clearly isn’t meant for holding an ordinary small water bottle (what you grab from a corner store). But why would you want that anyway? You can just as well chuck that bottle inside the basket, it won’t spill. Where you do need to keep things upright is with a cup of coffee. The ring does this job admirably. Incidentally, it also fit a refillable water bottle (one meant for bikes, we got that at a biking marathon) and a thermos that we had.
