Finally One Thats Bright Enough!!!!
I use this in a DSDplus FL portable setup and needed a screen to hook to the computer that was in the back of the car so I could hang it up front to see it. I bought one of those raspberry pi screens thats about the same size before I got this one. The old one was too bright at night and way too dim in the day... This one is perfect! Especially since you can adjust the brightness, it gets plenty dark and plenty bright! The brightness adjust works fine from about 25 to 75. When you go over 75 you may have to adjust some of the other settings as well as if you go under 25 but itโs definitely dim enough for night and bright enough in almost direct sunlight in the car up by the dash The speakers work fine up to about 70-80 then after that they start distorting but pretty good quality nonetheless! The stands screw wouldnโt go in, guessing it was too big for the stand but I didnโt need the stand but if you needed it maybe could get the right size screw? The picture quality is great also! My last small screens colors were all off a bit but this one is crystal clear and the colors are on point!

Works great for me.
This little monitor is perfect for the use I have for it. I currently am using it with my laptop as a second monitor and it is very useful. Sometimes you need to open another program and don't want to close or minimize the one you're working in. This is great for that. I also plan to use it with my video camera to get a larger view of what I am viewing. It will also serve as a monitor to playback other video or pictures I am watching. Loving so far and for the money it is great. The picture quality is very nice and the sound isn't bad at all for a small device.

Absolutely Fantastic Screen, but Beware the Power Cord.
The monitor itself is surprisingly good. It's the type of thing that'd be right at home in a camera set-up. It is surprisingly good quality for its size, comes with a mount, and is in general versatile. Now, I don't know if this is just a quirk of HDMI cables, though the one it comes with keeps slipping out of the port on my computer at the slightest touch. That isn't much of a problem, though; I've found a way to secure it a bit better, and I've had zero other issues. What is a problem, and the only reason I didn't give the item five stars, is the power cord it comes with; this power cable is the worst thing I have ever had the displeasure of using. The product doesn't come with a usb-to-outlet adapter, and since I didn't have an extra one to use for it, I plugged it into one of my computer's usb ports. It worked well... until it stopped working, and I realized the USB port I had it plugged into was burnt out and rendered completely useless. So, I went out and bought a USB-to-outlet adapter to use instead. I was able to use the monitor again, and everything was fine... until the cord itself started to fall apart. The plastic housing around the USB end fell apart and seems to be held together entirely by friction, and the USB plug itself doesn't seem to be soldered too well to the board within, so it frequently wobbles and disconnects if gravity decides to pull on it a little too hard that day, or god forbid if something brushes up against the cord. Outside of the power cord, the monitor is awesome though. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it; just take a look around and see if you can find a higher quality cord to purchase along with it. Also, just be aware that it is possible to burn an image into the screen if you leave it on for too long / at too bright of a setting. I unfortunately managed to do this on day one, though this seems to be a general rule for any monitor you might use and the fault is entirely on me.

I LOVE this thing. I need a magnifier to see it, but I still love it
Ok, I might have bought a monitor a BIT on the small size for the decrepit age of my eyes, but that's just me, I'm old. Hooking it straight from a Pi400 and a Pi3b worked beautifully to display the GUI desktop a All the inputs work, and, if you can see the itty bitty thing, the on screen menu is quite helpful. I did have a slight issue with it not reporting the resolution correctly back through the HDMI, but taking resolution off auto and hardcoding it in the boot file fixed it. There was a terrifying moment when the display was upside down, but that was me fatfingering that boot file, whoopsie. Also the mount isn't 100% err... "mounty" due to a stripped screw, but that might have been my Superman self punching through the cardboard. Simple replacement of said screw only leaves it tilting a few degrees leeward, but again, a slight head tilt fixes that right up. Enjoy!

Solid little monitor with great build for the price
This worked perfectly as a second screen for my setup. The build quality is sturdier than I expected, and the refresh rate is smooth enough for light video or console use. The setup was quick and easy to use right out of the box. The viewing angle is wide and clear, making it easy to glance at without constantly adjusting the screen. Iโve moved it around quite a bit, and itโs held up well. Good durability for something this compact.

Will display 1080p, not it's native resolution
It's a decent, tiny monitor that does what I need. There is some confusion in other reviews. It's native display resolution is 1024X600. However, if you can output in 1080p it WILL display it. If you need a stunning picture and perfect playback, you might need to spend more than 60 bucks on a 7 inch monitor. If you need a small screen that's portable and cheap and has several connection options, this is a good bet. It's even got a little remote. It does just what I needed at a good price point. Very happy with the purchase.

Exactly What I needed!
I would first like to address some of the concerns I saw on reviews before my purchase. So I received it, pulled it out of the box, and it had that colored tape thing sticking out of it and I was like โoh you fool you should have listened!!โ. Actually, Itโs just a screen protector! Itโs really wedged under the LCD frame when you start to pull it so you have to be careful. I have a Nikon D3400 that I was looking to hook up to an external monitor for live viewing. Literally just to view the picture/video as I was taking it. Thereโs a $600 device out there that you could use or you could use this less than $60 LCD Monitor which truly does have a crisp quality. And it pumps out some really impressive sound too! The remote that comes with it is garbage so learn to use the onboard buttons. I also use this as a monitor for a raspberry pi and I think it could be a fantastic option for those who are interested in creating their own dedicated consoles. Iโve had this for a few months now with gentle use and itโs still living the dream. 10/10 would recommend and buy again.

Perfect! (except for ongoing headphone volume issue)
3 days since arriving, and this is the perfect little monitor for my desk! I have it hooked up to my Comcast cable box via HDMI so I can watch the business news during the trading day. While I can watch this online (and did before the monitor), those livestreams are delayed by 20 seconds, which makes a huge difference when following stocks and digesting the very latest business news. However.... the one complaint I have that keeps this from being a 5-star review is also the main reason I purchased this particular unit, which is the headphone jack! I don't recall seeing any other small monitors here on Amazon (at least in this price range) that have a headphone jack. The importance of this is paramount, as I tend to wake up before my wife, and therefore use the headphones to listen without disturbing her sleep. The issue I have with the headphone jack is that it does not work properly! I have to crank the volume up to 20 to get a super-low volume level, and up to 50 to get a reasonable volume level, and all of it sounds very distorted, like everyone is talking with marbles in their mouth, or worse. I have tried 2 completely different headphones and the same happens with both. It's not a deal-breaker, as the distortion is not as prevalent at the lower volume (20), and I can kind of understand what's being said, although not completely (plus it's very low). It is just very annoying though! Without the headphones plugged in, I usually listen at volume of 1-5, which sounds great, and 20 is too loud (I would not even want to try 60!). Other than that, it's perfect! UPDATE 9/19/2020: Although Amazon shipped me a second one, I have yet to open it because I somehow fixed the headphone issue on my first one. I have to mail one of these back by the 26th, so I have one more week to continue my test of the first one I received. How did it get fixed, you ask? I accidentally lightly knocked it down on its face (the screen is indented so it was not affected by that) and the headphone has worked as it should ever since. I don't recommend it, and it was an accident, but it worked! UPDATE 10/6/2020 (7:45am PST): I guess I should have kept the second one (which I had mailed back completely unopened since the initial one continued to work fine) because without any notice, the headphone jack just now cut out again! So now I am back to the original volume problem... Lowered to 3 stars...

Very clear images and great sound effect
Worth the money, really cute and convenient! very great images and great sound. Would recommend to any friend who need a little monitor for raspberry pi, CCTV system or backward camera in cars.

Good for servers
What with the ongoing apocalypse, my work in IT means I've had to bring a disgustingly noisy little bastard of a server home to do some lab work. With it next to my desk the fans made me feel like I was going insane, so it's been banished to a bedroom. Annoyingly I sometimes need to plug a screen into the little Jet engined noise maker, which meant lugging a monitor upstairs to it. No more. This little screen is perfect for just checking on the status of a server, or fiddling around with the BIOS or something. The picture quality is pretty decent, and the text is JUST big enough to read during a bootstrap. Make no mistake, if you plan to do actual work on a server, you'll want a bigger screen, but just for doing some basics, this little thing is great. It's nice and small/light too. I will probably start taking it with me if doing field work, once the world goes back to some form of normal. I'm quite impressed with this little thing, and I'm glad I didn't spend any more money.

Good item to buy! Worked for my small teleprompter!

Surprisingly Good
This little guy is very cheap and was purchased as an "extra" monitor for a professional theatre production. The screen is surprisingly clear and whilst it is NOT a professional item in any way.. this was easy to set up and is easily good enough to use as a non-calibrated reference monitor. ONE WARNING - the screw for the very flimsy stand is not a standard camera mount screw - it looks like it is - but it's not. LOL
