My wife and I are in our 70s and she has mobility issues, so I was on the floor trying to reach around the controller and work blindly to get the unit in a pairing mode. I couldn't figure out how to release it from the bracket. (Remember, the bottom of the bed is only a few inches from the carpet and the bed is too heavy for me to move easily.) It took me almost an hour to finally get the idea that the controller did not actually have any power. The power supply LED was not lit. (Duh!) Anyway, at 1/5 the price of the manufacturer's replacement, this power supply saved the day. Fast shipping and it fit perfectly. I didn't need any of the accessories that came with it...just the brick itself. If it lasts for only a year or two, it will still be a bargain. For some reason, non of these products are advertised as replacements for adjustable bed mechanisms, but all the voltage outputs and other info matched… and the units brand name was one of the brands listed on the compatibility list, so I thought I’d give it a try. The connectors are pretty universal for these units, but they have been stream lined a bit to allow for a locking mechanism to engage to prevent accidental separation. The part of the old wire I needed to use was larger in diameter, so the locking mechanism was a very tight fit, but the electrical connection prongs fit perfectly…. And the unit works perfectly as well.
