SakkasSundari Caftan Tank Dress/Cover Up

No size uniformity here
I have a few of these cool, lightweight summer caftaims.. The fit is loose and flowy typically, even for a heavier customer. The fit on this particular fine was quite tight at the top. I often winder why the fit is so different......does sit vary by style? Or from one garment to another? I have no idea. I love the ones I have although I will say that there is no uniformity and I only expect to get about 8-10 washes per garment befor it starts to fray and look a bit beat up. They are pretty cheaply made, but what can one expect for $20-$25). So accept this garment/ cover up for what it is and order another one when the first needs replacing.

Not Colorfast
The cover-up had a nasty smell to it so I soaked it in the laundry tub. Water turned bright yellow. Emptied the sink, wrung out the garment, soaked it again. Then I put it the wash with detergent and a color catcher. After 2 soakings, the color catcher still came out very yellow as you can see in the attached photo. The quality of the dye on this garment is horrible. I still would not trust putting it in the wash with anything else. Will be returning this.

Great Dress. One size fits all is accurate description for a change.
I'm a large woman. 5'8" at 215 lbs. This fits me all over. However, the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the armholes are just a teeny bit tight. I'm not only overweight, I lift weights, so I have big muscles AND fat. The color is wonderful. The fabric is nice and thin, perfect for Phoenix heat. The embroidery is only on the front of the dress, but that doesn't bother me, just noting so folks are aware. I have only hand-washed the dress. It kept it's color and dried very quickly when hung up. I was afraid to put in the dryer as the armholes could not get smaller and still be tolerable. I got one in blue and one in pink. I spend way to much time wearing them around the house being comfy! I really love them.

Disappointed
I was excited when I ordered this...........and when I opened it.However, upon trying it on, although it's one size, it felt too small under the arms. It looks ok, jut did not feel like a one size.I'm not a bigger girl either. Also the design around the bottom had what looked like paint spatters (spray) in spots outside of the design that made it look haphazardly like they might be seconds, that are sold for way less than the perfect designs. I thought the paint outside of the design and on the solid part just did not look quality. Maybe no one would ever notice, but I did. It's worth the tad over $20 I paid for it. But I'll be more cautious when ordering one size fits all again.Fabric is pretty, dress is flowy for summer parties.

Has quickly become my favorite
I like wearing loose dresses around the house in hot weather, but caftans and muumuus are a bit much. This one is a lovely alternative, and pretty enough to wear in public too. Not overly sheer. My only quibble with it is I wish the sides weren't quite so short. It's long enough in back to almost hit the ground (I'm 5'3"), but is short enough on the sides to make me a trifle self-conscious about how much leg I'm showing. The fit in the bust is perfect and the embroidery is beautiful. I've washed and dried it several times on delicate with no problems. So comfortable and so light and breathable (woven rayon). Highly recommended, like all Sakkas clothes.

I'M A SAKKAS ADDICT
I love loose-fitting clothing. Not only does this dress fit the bill, but the color is vibrant and eye-catching. Every time I've worn it, I receive compliments. It's very cool in summer, although I do need to wear a light full slip underneath because the fabric is a bit see-through. The middle of the hem hangs at my ankles. It's well made and COTTON, which is so difficult to find these days. I tend to wash my Sakkas by hand and air dry them. They're too delicate for the washer and dryer.

Color not as pictured, but love it anyway
I bought a similar dress about three years ago that is made by this company. I wanted another summer loose fitting coverup and went with the green/gold color. The color selection avocado/gold dress is more accurate. The green is dark avocado, not at all like lime green the pictured. I decided to keep it anyway because it HAS POCKETS!These dresses do bleed the first few washes and should be hand washed thoroughly before the first wear. The navy blue dress previously purchased is still in great shape.

Love these dresses, but. . .
I love these dresses, and I love the material and style of them from this company. I also love them cause these all have pockets.BUT, they're not very well quality controlled.I've purchased 4 of them, and 3 of them are great, but one is too small/tight in the arm holes. Since they're not PRIME, I'd have to ship them back at my expense. So I'm just putting it down to experience with this company. If a more standardized product, I'd give it 5 stars though. I love them.

A very pretty and useful dress.
I wore this dress on a recent holiday in Malta, using it loose on the beach and with a decorative belt as an evening dress. A number of people admired it. It is ethnic without being OTT. I love it.

Longer than expected
I am 5' 5" and it is almost full length on me where it dips but looks great with leggings and often admired. I would have preferred it a couple of inches shorter

Not the same as the pic
If you buy this thinking it is just purple and black as I did, it's not...it has a horrible gold outline around all the flowers...wont be wearing this, very disappointed

This is beautiful, really pretty
This is beautiful, really pretty. It feels cotton but is floaty, fine and sheer, which is what I wanted for holiday heat. It's big enough for larger ladies. I'm very happy with it and going to order more from the supplier.
