TI-84 Plus CE Color Graphing Calculator, Galaxy Gray (Metallic)

Bought for my son for freshman year of high school. He is still using it 1 1/2 years later. Honestly, it seems like the same calculator. I had to use back when I was in high school. Damn near operates the exact same way. I am a little curious as to why nobody has developed an app for this. But then again we don’t want devices in the classroom. Great product!

I’ve been needing this calculator for some time and I finally bought it. I love it and it is very useful, good quality, the color is nice, and it has a bright screen.

I bought this calculator for my daughter as she started college in mechanical engineering. She used the same model owned by the school when she was in high school so there was no learning curve for her. It's an awesome graphing calculator with the ability to install add-on apps from the website. There are two models available, each with a different programming language (BASIC and Python), so double check if one is preferred over the other before you buy.

This calculator has everything I need. I didn't use it as much as I thought I would but when I did, it was a good experience. I still think the price is a little too high but you get what you need with this one. I don't really like the charger it comes with because i've never seen it before so it's hard to find another one if you lose it. Now that im in precalculus, these have been very useful

Not sure about how it operates as I may send this TI-84 Plus CE back. The black color is the least expensive and any color choice after black will cost a little more. I thought the grey background would be lighter in color. Can't go wrong with Texas Instruments, all previous products have been great!

Great calculator, and the color big improvement over my previous graphing calculator. Battery lasts a long time too. There is so much functionality with this device—and more than one way to accomplish tasks—so you need to put in some effort to learn how to use it. The documentation that comes with this calculator is a tiny pamphlet, that's it! Go to the internet and watch videos, buy a cheat sheet or even a book, peek over in class and watch how other people use the calculator, etc.

Great calculator for HS math and chemistry

Genuine product good price fast delivery. My daughter wanted this because that’s what they push in high school, personally I think the HP is a better value. Example my 20 year old HP can solve equations for any term without writing a long ridiculous program. If your going into arts or science fine, otherwise get the HP.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever part with this calculator...! I was dreading going into university calculus (especially as I didn’t take it in high school) but this calculator made it a breeze! As long as your school/professor/teacher allows you to use this type of calculator it’s definitely worth the investment! I’ll be using it throughout the remained of my BBA program!

As a "Geek" I can program this to do math for me. The TI community shares programs for free! I personally wrote one to solve right angle triangles that has 450 downloads for free open source. This calculator has a color screen.

These are fantastic calculators. Would buy again. Really helps the consumer to get a better understanding mathematics, especially in the quadratics and systems and equations sections.
