Maximum Intensity
I have been reading Kent/Adams for several months now and am overwhelmed by the depth of emotional intensity she creates in her work. You feel the angst of her characters, see the pitfalls they face, the precarious choices they make and keep reading with scary anticipation of what happens next. Her leading characters are usually human and fallible and hurting just like the rest of us. Josh in No Regrets is a hero who has seen the inhumanities in a third world country and refuses to commit to avoid hurt. Leslie is alone, on the far side of 30, and shutting herself off from everyone. When they begin a "no strings" physical relationship you know the hurt is coming but the journey they make together to get to their HEA is one you do not want to miss. Kent's characters are real. You feel that you know them on a personal level. I appreciate that her characters are usually more mature and experienced. I love that Kent is also unafraid of virtually any topic. My favorite work is Salvation - one of the most difficult to read but wonderful books I have devoured in recent years. The story is gut-wrenching but so worth the hard won peace at the end. No Regrets is a close second. No Regrets is erotic and romantic and spicy and educational. No physical topic is off limits but everything is written with an ease and a beauty that allows the reader to believe anything is possible. If you are a Kent/Adams fan download now. If not, this is a great first look at her work but be prepared. You will download or buy everything she has ever written.

Whoa...an intense experience
A quick read, guaranteed you won't be able to put it down. This book walks the line between romance and erotica, with some seriously steamy and detailed scenes...but it's so much more than that...It's such an interesting take on romance, an older woman (she's 38-39) who doesn't feel attractive who discovers her sexuality basically, with this hot guy who's super sweet but also a commitment-phobe...Their interactions are like delving into the emotional part of steamy sex, a look at the vulnerabilities that come with a physical relationship. It touches on trust and exposing yourself to another person. This book was surprisingly emotional and wonderful and I really enjoyed it.

Not Swoon Worthy
Couldn't get into the H. Didn't have enough good qualities to outweigh his selfishness and immaturity. I can see this kind of guy at my office or at the bar. I'm not looking to read about him.I will give the author credit for writing a visceral sex scene though. I was mentally exhausted after reading 10 or so pages of the H's expert initiation of the h to anal sex from her distraught perspective. What also bothered me was the h downplaying her emotions to the H afterwards like they didn't matter. Some sobbing in the shower, reassuring the H he was awesome and not to worry about her because she's a big girl and it was all good.Heroine should have just adopted a new dog. :/

Intense and steamy, from no strings to all the strings
This book has one of my favorites heroines written by Claire Kent/Noelle Adams, and I love all of this author's work. Leslie is in her late thirties, mature and self-contained. She tries hard to do the right thing and stay within the bounds of the no-strings relationship she and Josh agreed upon despite her deepening feelings. She is kind and generous, but when she realizes things have become untenable, she breaks up with Josh immediately, with a clear explanation why (what they had was amazing, but she wants something else). She doesn't make demands of him; she respects what he said he wanted and walks away. I love her strength, maturity, and poise. The chemistry between the leads is palpable and their emotional connection evident in all their interactions, especially during sex, which is frequent, well written, and hot. It doesn't hurt that Josh is swoony.

You won't want to be interrupted!
After a devastating loss, Leslie is grieving and Josh happens to show up in the right place, at the right time, with all the right actions to sweep her up and away from the sadness that is encompassing her days. I loved that he was organically placed into her life and that everything that followed felt real as well. This couple are fully developed in every way despite this being a relatively short read. It’s written completely in the heroine’s point of view and usually I’m able to pretty well understand this author’s heroes. Not so this time. Which is where so much of the twist and angst contribute to the story. But when this couple come together as mature adults to confront their issues, Josh really lets her know how he feels. And it is such a beautiful moment...for both of them! With a fast pace and incredible characters, this centers a lot on the heat that intensifies more and more with each encounter. Normally, smexy stories tend to lose the emotional element, but not so here. Even during the most sizzling of all scenes, Leslie and Josh are connecting in ways that I rarely find in other romance books. This is definitely a perfect summer read either for a few hours on the beach or with some quiet time at home. Warning: you will not want to be interrupted.

Better Than I Expected!
After reading several reviews I was skeptical to order this book. While I like love stories where the couples are intimate, I also want depth to the story. A few reviews stated this book was nothing but sex. There is more to this story though. While we don't get a whole lot of background on the characters (especially the heroine) we do get a decent story that often times felt real. The heroine decides to step our of her comfort zone and does things she normally wouldn't do. The Hero has closed himself off from deeper relationships because of traumatic things in his past. He only wants sex. Will she change him? Will she experiment and walk away? Read this and see what happens! I also like that this man and women are a little older. In their 30's I think. They have lived long enough to know what they want to be happy! If they both just take a chance. This is not a long book, so that's probably why we don't get too much background. I think you will enjoy!

Brilliant
Another absolutely EPIC book from Kent. This is the 3rd book of hers that I’ve read and I’m going on to another after this one. This one, like the others, is HOT, lusty, romantic, funny & (most importantly) WELL WRITTEN. There’s a great building of the characters and from the start of the book you’re just consumed by it. I couldn’t put it down.

Not bad but not great
I really loved Nameless and the two sequels so was looking forward to reading another Claire Kent book. HoweverI was a bit disappointed in this - I couldn't get invested in either of the characters and the story never came to life for me.

No regrets!
Great story so had no regrets reading it. I liked that the author put more fact than fiction into some of the love scenes, it made the story more real somehow. The love between Leslie and Josh came through as the story developed and I wasn't sure how the story would end (don't want to spoil it). I think I prefer this author writing as Claire Kent than Noelle Adams as I think the writing is a bit more mature. One or two typos found but they didn't detract from the story.

Loved it !
Loved this book & wasn't aware that Noelle Adams wrote under this name also. I'll certainly be buying more of her books. One click this one now, you won't regret it.
