Perfect for short hair
Just received my curling iron today and tried it – this is what I’ve been looking for. The barrel is exactly the right size and lightweight, the clamp opens and shuts perfectly and the curls are bouncy and full. Love that it has a plastic tip that doesn’t burn my fingers and love that it has an auto shut off. Finished my entire head in 10 minutes. Great value for the money!

Love my new Tiny Curling Iron!
Just the kind of tight curls I wanted!!!! Only took about 40 mins to curl all of my hair. Hair doesn’t have to stay on the curling iron very long. Please with my purchase! I love that the cord twist!

Safety Alert Promptly Addressed by the Manufacturer
Because the reviews have been fairly positive, I have purchased at least (2) of these curling irons (the last one on March 27, 2025 thinking the 1st purchase was just a fluke) and each has each has simply "popped" and stopped working within 6 mos. It's works well when it works but I've been fortunate that when the sparks fly, I'm not injured and fuses are not blown. I'm offering this review as a safety alert. Update: I reached out to the manufacturer & their prompt response & replacement offer were beyond impressive prompting me to revise my review!

LOVE this iron! Easy to use, perfect curls!
EDIT: I have gone through two of these irons already because after time, it stops heating up. I think it's an issue with the electrical cord (?) because nothing seems wrong with the physical iron. I purchased the second one thinking that that the flaw in the first one was a fluke, but now the second one has stopped working too. Each one lasted about a year. Sad because the iron itself worked beautifully. :( (ORIGINAL REVIEW): I wish I had replaced my old iron LONG ago because this iron is amazing! (I had no idea what I was missing out on!). My old iron was the typical shiny silver kind. This one is ceramic. It's 1/4 inch which is thinner than my previous iron (1/2 inch). I can make the curls tighter obviously, but I can also control the tightness by how I use it. I use two methods - one is just to wrap the hair around the iron with my fingers (this creates more of a spiral than a curl). The other is to clasp the hair using the clamp - I clamp it at the mid point of the hair length, then wind it from there to my scalp, release the clamp slightly then gently twist the whole iron and let the hair wind through until the end. This creates a nice loose, bouncy curl. The curl sets very quickly without needing to hold the iron in place for any length of time. I've only used it ONE time so far and was moved to write this review already because it's so awesome! Without an iron, I would describe my hair as "fluff". It's neither straight or curly on its own. I have to either straighten it or curl it. (Just adding that bit of info if you want to compare your hair type to mine). I used the "medium" setting (170). Hope this helps in your purchase decision! Worked SO well for tiny, tight little curls!
This curling iron worked SO well! Bought it for an 80's themed party because I wanted some BIG hair. I liked how the settings were for hair type (I have fine hair) so I chose the setting for my hair type and it set the temp for me. It also came with a glove to help prevent burning. I did not have an issue so did not need it. I have above shoulder, fine hair. I did a lot of thin layers to get the curls. Took me 35 min to curl my whole head. I caught on quick how I wanted to curl them and it was easy. Once I let the curls set, I ran my fingers and teased it. OMG, perfection! Definitely did what I was hoping to accomplish.

Gets the job done!
The barrel is tiny...it heats up quickly. The cord is a good length. If your looking for a really tight curl you will be happy....

Rips out fine hair..😢
I know this has great reviews so I gave it a try but seriously I don’t know how anyone can use this. There is a small space where the heated part of the barrel meets the heat resistant tip and my super fine hair just kept getting caught in it and would either get ripped out in the initial turning or in removing the barrel. I tried it with small sections, medium size sections and micro sections with the same result. Any flyaway hairs got stuck and if u have fine hair you know how often u have flyaways. And you can’t try to stay to the base of the barrel because the barrel is so short that anything past shoulder length hair at best cannot be accommodated on the barrel’s length. I gave up with less than half of my hair done because I just got a headache and a sore scalp. If you have a thicker hair texture that doesn’t fit the gap then go for it. But if u have fine hair and would like to be able to get a full head of curls without a headache or pulling out hairs with literally every section maybe try another iron.
