Mounted to my rimmed tank easily, and the adapter included should make it easy to mount to almost any type tank edge. Some have complained this gooseneck is hard to adjust. It is very stiff and strong, but gee, isn't that the point of making a well designed mounting? It does take some time and patience to get it adjusted exactly where you need the light to be, but once set it stays put. It is also attractive on my tank and the cords are not a distraction if you cable tie them correctly - cable ties are included. This gooseneck mounting is exactly what I expected from Kessil - first rate all the way. Review: Don't put on small tank - I got this for one of the medium sized kessils on a 30" tank and not 2 day's later the tank sprung a leak. It wasn't the product's fault but my own, the glass was pretty thin and I didn't realize how large this arm was and that there are two different sizes at least and I had to put way to much stress on it to fit a tank narrower than 18". But the product it's self is really good. After upgrading to a 75g I had in storage (and a lot of panic) I made lemonade out of lemons and set up one of my nano tanks I took down a year or two ago, this time with the A160we hooked to the 75g next to it instead of the little nano Kessil I once had on it. Gooseneck gives you the ability to focus on certain locaton.
