If you don't want to add a whole egg you could use just egg whites, although egg yolks also add richness...

Hi why this cost more than bag, thanks.

The Bags are mass produced, The cans were discontinued, but brought back in limited production runs, so they cost more to produce and are much harder to find.

how many do you receive for $17.50?

But this is waaayyyy over priced!!!! My wife and I just bought the same 33 ounce can at World Market (not on sale) for$7.99. Even other sites on Amazon alot cheaper.

Is this the same one that is at best western hotel??

There is another product sold in a 5 lb. bag. I believe this is what the hotels use. I bought it once and did not like it nearly as well as this mix. See Carbon's Golden Malted Pancake and Waffle Flour Mix - 80 ounces - Complete Mix - Just Add Water 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
