Perfect for Purple button sears openers
I bought 2 - they programed easily for my Sears garage door opener with the purple smart button. Thanks for having an alternative to the poorly made sears devices. I went through 2 of those in less than 2 years. I'll try to remember to post in 6 months or a year about if it's held up. The sears branded ones certainly did not.The instructions in the box for programming were correct for the sears branded door opener. I'm very happy so far. I was able to buy 2 of these for the cost of the sear model and they are more compact and easier to carry, too.UPDATE 3/2013 : Still going strong, no issues and they work well with decent range. I do occasionally bump the garage door open accidentally because the buttons stick out a bit and are sensitive.

Liftmaster Mini, nearly perfect
This mini remote does the job, was easy to pair with my garage door unit, is extremely lightweight, and was cost efficient. I wanted a keychain sized door opener so I wouldn't have to take the unit from my car. The mini is nice to have for when I don't do the driving (but still want to enter through my garage) or for when I have a guest who needs to go in and out (but whom I don't want to give house keys). It is better than giving house keys to guests due to costing less to replace than changing locks. Changing the code for the main unit and resynching the mini remote is pretty simple. The only con is that the buttons can too easily be accidentally pressed if the remote is in a pocket or purse. This can result in garage door being opened or closed unwittingly. After quickly discovering this I made sure to keep the mini situated such that it hangs outside of purse or pocket.I would definitely recommend this product.

Liftmaster keychain remote
Works fine, range is good, but buttons are much to easy to push when bumped or jostled in pants pockets. Whenever I try to carry this remote, I find my electric gate opening and closing accidentally. Might work better to use one the left or right buttons, rathern than the middle button as your primary control.

Convenience that works
I purchased 2 of these FOB-like remotes to save having to carry keys or the more bulky car visor garage door opener on my morning walks. They came with batteries already installed and it was easy to activate ( press and let go of the set-button on the opener / then press the remote button you want to use and hold/ wait a couple of seconds for the clicks from the opener and voila you are ready to go. I Have been using them now for over a month and both are working great - I even use them to open/ close the garage door as the wall button is further than the key hooks they hang on. Reasonably priced/fast delivery/ highly recommend.
