Bought 3 of the grey 15 lb weighted blankets. They came well packaged. They were thinner than expected. First night we all slept reasonably well being our legs felt weighted/heavy (followed instructions for those who never slept with a weighted blanket)…totally recommend following the instructions for adjusting to sleeping underneath the blanket. I began having trouble sleeping the second night. My legs and knees began to ache and I eventually took the blanket off. My knees felt much better, which led me to believe it had to do with my artificial knees. I believe the pressure from the blanket was too much for my knees. Now I cannot attest and say that other’s who have had their knees replaced, will have these issues, I just know that for me, the weight on my legs and knees does not work. I returned my blanket with no issues or problems from the company. The other two blankets are very much enjoyed by other family member members. The one family member has found that his restless legs has ceased. Also, he suffers from leg cramps quite often every week. Amazingly, this weighted blanket has actually has stopped his leg cramping, and he sleeps very well! Who would’ve thought a way that blanket would do that! Again, this does not mean that others will not have their restless legs or cramping, stop or ceased to a minimal. I can just attest to the family member and how it has greatly helped him . The third family member has really enjoyed her blanket as well. Loves the blanket! I cannot a test to it being waterproof, nor have I washed the blankets or anything else. I can say that the blanket is soft to the touch and does not slide off the onto the floor. The color is nice and will go with any decor, being grey neutral color.

Update 9/4/18: Because I love this blanket so much, and did feel I could use more weight, I ordered a 2nd blanket less than two weeks later. The new one is the same excellent quality, but arrived in a different shade of gray, so I've posted a picture so you can see the difference (and that the squares are 6" as stated). The 1st one was a neutral to slightly warm mid-tone gray, the 2nd one is a more blue toned gray (I'm sorry I couldn't capture the exact colors, but you can see the difference). Fortunately I am using them on top of each other, but if I had wanted to use them side by side I would have been disappointed. I'm bringing this up because if you will be using them side by side, I recommend buying them both at the same time since the fabric may come from different dye lots. I do love the extra weight, and don't find the 30lbs to be too heavy for me, but it definitely makes it warmer, so I have to leave the fan on or turn down the thermostat to stay comfortable in the summer. It will be great for winter! Original Review: I have always loved the feeling of heavy blankets and comforters piled on top of me, but it's too hot in the summer to do that. I was thrilled to find that a weighted blanket was actually "a thing", and I can use it in the summer without getting too warm! After looking at many weighted blankets, I chose this one for the great reviews on the quality, the price, and that it had glass beads instead of plastic for the weight. I originally wanted a 20lb blanket, but due to the price difference, and the fact that I didn't even know if I would like it, and with the idea I could add another blanket for additional weight in the future, I went with the 48"x72" 15lb. It feels heavy when you handle it, but it is not at all uncomfortable to sleep under. In fact, I think I am sleeping much better, since I often wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back to sleep, and that hasn't happened since I started using this blanket about a week ago. The blanket itself is a super soft cotton, and the beads make no noise at all. The weight seems to be evenly distributed and the quality is excellent. It comes in a very nice box that would be a lovely presentation if you are giving this blanket as a gift. At this point the only con I can see is that it must be dry cleaned, but since I use it on top of a sheet, that shouldn't be a problem. All in all this blanket has been one of the best purchases I have ever made!

This is softness, Color was great, ease to transport, lightweight for me, I would like to ever color as a gift for the Alzheimer patient.. send one if you can.

I love that the squares (2x2) are a perfect size to keep an even balance of weight throughout the blanket. The fabric is soft n also durable, and the stitching is very secure. I bought their duvets because for me it's easier to wash the cover itself more often than the blanket.

I first slept with a weighted blanket at my friend's house. I instantly knew I needed one. I searched around for exactly what I thought I wanted; cotton, evenly distributed beads, and a heavy weight. This YnM blanket fit all of those. Once it arrived, I was even more impressed than I thought I'd be. The army color is very rich and luxurious looking. The little squares ensure the blanket weight is evenly distributed, and the cotton cover is soft. Its winter here in Michigan so I do usually put this on top of my comforter, but I can imagine just using this blanket other times if the year. I haven't washed it yet, but I see they make covers so will likely get one of those soon. It is heavy!!! When I make the bed, I really need to put my legs into it lol. Totally worth it, though, because I sleep so well with this blanket. The research on weighted blankets is pretty good. They increase total sleep time and reduce cortisol. They really do feel like a hug. I'm a fan!

I bought these for my husband and 12, 10, and 5 year old boys and noticed an immediate and positive impact on relaxation and sleep. The color and quality are wonderful. I was worried about the glass beads pooling, but the pockets distribute everything evenly, and the stitching feels very solid, so my concerns about the beads leaking are gone. Great product, quality, and price.
