These refills work in my ryiobi weed whacker. The weed whacker itself has a cover the spools must be installed and the cover has to say off to have it fit correctly. Once the replacement was in there and the string worked out it cut down everything in site and were able to get multiple uses out of the spools. It’s very quick to install and comes quickly in the mail. I feel like it’s an excellent quality product I wish the cap would fit back over it correctly because I like to keep things the same but it’ll do and we’re happy with our choice.

The string gets tangled on itself, not allowing it to advance through the trimmer head. I have to manually pull the string out of the trimmer head and several times have had to unwind the string completely and rewind it. Poorly designed product IMO.

This was easy to install and use. The line would only break way when I got to close to our metal fence. I will order these again!

They must have paid a lot to get all the good reviews. These are horrible. They break really easily, they wind around themselves so tight that they can’t be used, they don’t consistently auto feed. I previously used another non-oem brand, and one reel covered countless yard trimmings with no problem. I went through three the first day I tried these. 90% of my time was spent messing around with trying to get the string to work properly. The brand I used previously is no longer available, so I’m returning these and trying another. Wish me luck!
