Only for use on induction cooktops - Only use when cooking by power settings - CAUTION - Make sure your cookware is compatible with induction cooktops and mats before buying. An easy way to check if your cookware should be compatible is to touch a magnet to the bottom of your cookware and see if it sticks and holds strongly to the bottom of the pan. Most magnetic stainless steel cookware and cast iron pans are compatible. With cast iron pans please be careful not to exceed the mat's heat resistance - Your cookware must have a flat base and strong magnetic coating to ensure it will work with the mat - This product is NOT an induction plate adapter to use non-induction cookware. It is NOT compatible with induction plate adapters - Pans may heat slower when using induction mat especially if cookware has a weak magnetic coating - Heat Diffusion - 100% silicone and fiberglass meant to maximize lifespan of your induction cook top - Unparalleled Protection - Prevents induction cook top from unwanted scratches and scrapes. Keeps pots and pans from sliding during cooking - Multi Purpose - Can be used in the microwave, oven safe up to 480℉. If you do you will scratch the hell out of the glass top. **Q: Can I use mat & diffuser to use cookware not maganitized for my induction stove top?** A: I do it all the time with a different brand mat. Thinking of trying this mat. I make a "sandwich" with these mats https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0789CRP5Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this diffuser plate https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FTCJRTY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 in between the mats. I cook daily with my ceramic and glass corning cookware this way. I have found an odd odor from the mats when they are heated on the cooktop after running them through the dishwasher though. I'll hand wash them from now on. **Q: can I use a regular pot with this product?** A: If you mean can you use it a regular glass cooktop with a regular pot?--NO--it would melt. This is only to be used on an induction cooktop with induction compatible cookware. **Q: Is the weave fiberglass that would end up pressed against the stovetop, or is it fully coated in silicone?** A: The fiberglass is woven into the material and the ridges and edges of the mat are silicone preventing the fiberglass from pressing against the stovetop. The fiberglass is coated to prevent any scratching. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lazy K Induction Cooktop Mat - Silicone Fiberglass Scratch Protector - for Magnetic Stove - Non Slip Pads to Prevent Pots from Sliding During Cooking (11 inches) - Thermochromic Silicone Induction Cooktop Protect Mat, Silicone mat for Induction Cooktop protective cover 2 pcs (9.5 inches) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/440552018-lazy-k-induction-cooktop-mat-silicone-fiberglass-scratch-protector-magnetic](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/440552018-lazy-k-induction-cooktop-mat-silicone-fiberglass-scratch-protector-magnetic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
