10-Hole Birdhouse with Low Copper Roof, Amish Crafted in The USA

Shipped very quickly--wrapped super good. A very beautiful addition to the yard,extremely happy with the purchase. Fits exactly over a 4x4 post which actually will measure 31/2 x 3 1/2 . We secured it by putting a few screws at base. Didn't include instructions on how to clean out,but that seems easy enough to figure out. Great craftsmanship on this product--would highly recommend this bird house. Am actually looking at purchasing another after seeing this one!

Well built, has a nice white finish on it, no need to paint. The only draw back is that you will need to remove the copper top and two of the mounting screws in order to open it up. But overall a great well made item.

I like the hinged feature for easy cleaning, and the mount fit for a 4x4 pole. Shows very nice quality.

This is an absolutely beautiful birdhouse, and a lovely addition to any backyard. I bought one of these some 15 years ago. It had a cedar shake roof which finally gave up the ghost after so many years out in the weather. With this copper roof I would expect this one to last even longer. The old one could not be opened for cleaning - this one can, which is a huge plus. The old one was home to many bluebirds over the years, so I'm hoping this one will be also..

It unlatches from a brass hook and opens lengthwise, from the top to the bottom, so I have access for cleaning. The partician, between the two sides, removes easily. For cleaning, it does have to be removed from the post. It looks quite large and beautiful.

The used version that I bought had some very small issues as expected but it is a very nice looking birdhouse. Cleaning it is problematic. The build of the house is solid and many happy bird families have already made a home in it.

I love the birdhouse but am a little disappointed in the design as to how to open it up for cleaning, to have to take off the roof and then you have to take it off the post and remove the bottom in order to open the door? At least that is the only way I have seen to be able to do it and another person confirmed as well. Hence I will probably never clean it out cause once it's on our post I'm not going to be getting out a ladder and unscrewing it from the post and removing the bottom that attaches it to the post and remove the roof in order to open the doors. My husband is a wood worker so I'm going to see if he can figure out how to fix this issue. Don't get me wrong it's beautiful but bad door design :(

I love this beautiful birdhouse, the copper roof completes the elegant look.As you open the box you can smell the quality of the wood. It was nestled with great care from damage, the outstanding job of keeping the birdhouse packaged so nothing unexpected would happen during transport. I would highly recommend this seller and product.
